Publisher's Summary

The stunning conclusion to the Blood Type series finds the world in chaos and turmoil with one final battle left to determine who will survive - humans or vampires.

She had the world on her shoulders. Now she has nothing.

Reyna Carpenter was 21 when she became a live-in blood escort for the ruthless and darkly handsome vampire Beckham Anderson. She thought this was just a small price to pay for feeding her brothers back home. But nothing went as planned. Not even her tumultuous relationship with Beckham. Now she wonders if anything will ever be the same again.

As she finds herself in the midst of a losing rebellion, she and her trusted friends must flee from a city conquered by the vampire elite. With their plans blown to pieces and everything they knew and loved gone, their future hangs in the balance.

Despite all she has lost, Reyna must rise from the ashes, reclaim the life that was stolen - and complete her mission once and for all.

Loved all three books!

What was up with Gabe's voice? His voice sounded like he was mentally handicap. Had a hard time imagining him as a hard ass fighter/mobster.

HOLY WOW KYLA.. WHAT A UNIQUE & UNSTOPPABLE RIDE

As this exciting PNR trilogy unfolds the drama continues.. the blood bond between Beckham and Reyna continues.. the vampire and the human love story continues.. and the thrills and chills continue. Also, the high stakes game of good vs evil in the war to win the world, continues.. but people will fall, blood will spill and the cost will be staggering. This was a rollercoaster drama-filled ride with emotional blows, angst, passion, twists, surprises and action galore as Reyna rises to devastating challenges, undergoes immense character growth, faces evil and then spits in his face.. and wins the heart of a vampire Lord.

The high stakes challenges for Beckham and Reyna were all there.. and Reyna wasn’t the only one who went through character growth.. because the cold-blooded closed-off vampire let his impenetrable walls fall brick by brick for Reyna turning him into a possessive alpha. An alpha who supported and encouraged his ‘little one’, would die for her.. and nearly did, would rally an army with her, would give her strength when she had none.. and would what ??? for the woman he loved.. well folks that’s in the epilogue.

Worth a credit? Yes absolutely.. it’s a great conclusion to an exciting trilogy where there’s never a dull moment.. but it must be listened to in order. Expect the unexpected.. expect sweet as well as sour.. expect heat along with heavy.. expect another unique ride that will eventually wrap up the story nicely. It’s told from Reyna’s POV and Caitlin Elizabeth did a great job with the narration.

Blood, sweat and tears? Perhaps not. But...

If you've read (listened to) the first two in the series, of course you want to know how it all ends. No spoilers here, don't worry. The series as a whole is worthwhile and very well done, though I think inflated with a few too many extraneous characters. The Reyna/Beckham love story is a good one, and their time together made for the best content. I just found myself getting repeatedly frustrated by Reyna's jealousy, and with the STUPID actions she sometimes took that either put herself or others she cared about in danger. All because she was bored, or tired of being cooped up in a "safe house?" Please. After three long stories, it wrapped up all a little too quickly for me, with some loose ends that I guess weren't that important. I must say... I think I would really dig a story on Graves!!! How about it?

Great way to end their story.

Despite the push pull feelings of the last book this one really gives you a sense of settled feelings. I didn't feel the roller coaster of irritation, frustration, anger circling back to giddiness and joy. This book was more predictable but now I have so many questions about GRAVES. Holy cow that left me with so many questions. I'd read a book about that man.

Fitting Conclusion

Blood Cure is the last installment in the Blood Type series. After that devastating cliff hanger in book two, I was eager to see where Linde was planning to take this story. Well, she worked it out superbly and left me satisfied with how the series ended.

Blood Cure picked up precisely where Blood Match ended. A lot of changes have taken place, and it forces Reyna to adapt. She has come a long way. She no longer portrayed the naive and mouthy female that readers were used to in the previous books. The chaos, mayhem and the loss she suffered did not break her, instead it brought out her leadership skills. I admired her ability to rally everyone in fighting for the equality of humans and vampires.

I will not go into much detail as I do not wish to spoil the story for those who have not read it as yet. However, what I will say is that this was a well-written series with interesting characters. I loved how everything was resolved, and everyone got what they rightly deserved.

Another thing I will share is that there were several upheavals in this book. There were moments when I feared for the characters, especially Reyna. Each character had their own share of turmoil.

Caitlin Elizabeth continues to narrate, and she did a splendid job. I enjoyed every moment listening to this series. She brought life to the story and the characters.

Conclusion/Recommendation
All in all, Blood Cure was an exciting conclusion to a series I thought was unique and edgy. It demonstrates love’s ability to conquer its enemies and that it pays to stand up and fight for what you believe. Fans of paranormal romance and urban fantasy would love this series.
