Publisher's summary

He has nothing and everything to lose....

When a 17-year-old boy goes missing while camping with his buddies in the Chisos Mountains in Big Bend, the case is right up PI Charlie Dodge’s alley. Charlie’s reputation for finding missing people - especially missing kids - is unparalleled. Unfortunately, trouble seems to be equally good at finding him.

Charlie’s still in the thick of it when bad news arrives regarding his wife, Annie, whose early onset Alzheimer’s is causing her to slip further and further away. The timing couldn’t be worse. Thankfully, Charlie’s ride-or-die assistant, Wyrick, has his back. But when Universal Theorem, the shadowy and elusive organization from Wyrick’s past, escalates its deadly threats against her, it pushes both partners past their breaking points. Finding people is one thing; now Charlie will have to fight to hold on to everyone he holds dear.

Something a little different...

BLIMD FAITH is the third book in the Jigsaw Files series this book can be listened to as a stand alone however I would suggest listening to the series in order. I think too much of the detailed background would be lost without.
This series is a cross between suspense with a healthy dose of sci-fi.
The protagonists are split. Charlie Dodge is a Private investigator specializing in finding lost people. His assistant, Jade Wyrick is a genetically engineered woman who has multiple issues with the man responsible for her existence.
This book touched me a little more than the others. Both of the protagonists lose an important person in their lives. The emotions are raw and very realistic.
Adam Gold does a stellar job narrating.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Ms. Salad has topped herself.

Sharon Sala is one on my favorite authors,,and that was just reaffirmed. loved this book and the two before. The characters were real and honorable.Even LIKED the names.Charlie Dodge , simple name for a straight forward kind of guy.Loved his wife and took his wedding vows to heart. Jade Wyrick more complex name to fit a more complex character.I'm not usually drawn to the woman warrior, but this character fills the bill. She respects Charlie's love of his wife and acts accordingly. I don't know if I see these people as a couple but they do make a wonderful team. I do hope we see more of Charlie and Jade in the future. This is a book that needs to keep going and going.

Not proud of myself

Entertaining characters and plot. Cringe-worthy writing that left no cliche unturned -- and unturned and unturned and unturned. Still, I listened to the entire series, didn't i?
