Another great John Milton adventure

By now you have probably read one or more John Milton books by Mark Dawson. This one is as good as the rest. Ziggy is back along with Hicks. This one takes place in the Philippines and Milton gets thrown in jail with no hope of escape. You'll have to read it for the rest of the story.

If he wrote one a day, I would read one a day.

Never a disappointment. John Milton has faults, quirks, moods, even a weakness... he is still the best good/bad hero on offer. Just great!

Best Milton Thriller yet

If you could sum up Blackout in three words, what would they be?

Unputdownable

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes, good story with great twists, turns, and surprises.

What does David Thorpe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His command of voice for all the characters. Incredible talent!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There was not a lull in the story at all. Very well written with just the right flow.

Any additional comments?

Milton has now become my favorite charactor of this genre.

One of the best in the series.

Solid story and audio. Author stayed away from overusing “eloquent” but voice talent still can’t pronounce “ate.”

Milton is Tougher than ever

Mark Dawson spins another riveting story of John Milton. Plot is good, with some good twists and a couple of characters from his past. David Thorpe is one of my favorite narrators. Looking forward to the next installment.

John Milton never disappoints...

All my favorite characters in one book...Ziggy Penn, Alex Hicks and John Milton. The perfect trilogy of fun, mayhem and intrigue. The only thing I hate is that all the women in these books are the same, i.e. stubborn, pains in the ass. It makes you squirm when Milton meets a woman because you know she's going to mess everything up for him. Pls find Mlton a deserving, smart women who helps him get the bad guys.

What an adventure!

Great story! Quite different from the others but fun fun fun still the same. Milton has a knack for getting into crazy situations. They seem to somehow find him. I recommend this book to fans of thrillers and spy-type novels. The accents, as usual with David Thorpe, were spot on!

ALWAYS ENJOYABLE

The latest episode of the John Milton series is a well written, enjoyable tale with some old characters, a few new ones, a prior protagonist and a twisted tale. A lot of local color, in true Mark Dawson style! I loved it, Mark! May John's adventures continue for many more years! Thank you!!
