Loved this book. Lynn Raye Harris is one of my favorite authors. The way she tells the stories it's like you are right there with them. It was a delight to get to know Angie and Colt. They really were made for each other.

Black Out is great

I loved Black Out by Lynn Raye Harris! The narrators were amazing! This story had so many twists and turns! I love stories that are like that! Colt and Angie are a excellent couple!

Terrific Series - Each Story is Unique!!

While this series has the team members from BDI Security - each one is unique in its characters and setup. Here, we follow Angie - who is best friends with Maddy from Black Ties. She believes her actions in Black Ties result in Colt being shot - so she avoids him, even though he doesn’t blame her, and is attracted to her.

When Angie finds herself in danger (and her office burned down) Colt is assigned to protect her. Will this give them a chance to find out if a relationship could work?

Action-packed, with danger, intrigue and splendid romance in all the right proportions.

Loved so much!!!

I've come to love the Black's Bandits series every bit as much as the Hostile Operations Team series and the SEAL Team series of books from Lynn Raye Harris. I've wanted Colt and Angie to get together since we first met them and can only say it was totally worth the wait!

I loved Black Out from start to finish. I literally hated to put this book down as I was reading and really wished I could have read non-stop until I was finished. There has always been chemistry between Colt and Angie, and the fact their best friends Jace and Maddy are in a relationship, and keep throwing them together made me laugh out loud. I honestly loved the growth of Angie's character so much over this series. She really didn't seem that strong when we first met her in in Black List. I felt like she slowly was progressing to a strong woman, and she absolutely blew me away with her strength by the end of Black Out.

I have loved Colt from the first. Seriously the strong and yummy men Ian Black has working for him are just too Alpha for words...but in a really good way. Colt has the protective instinct I feel like all the men in these books have, and he wants to protect Angie from day one. I kinda loved the butted heads a bit in the beginning, but also loved Angie was stronger each passing day she spent with Colt. The chemistry between Colt and Angie built from the moment they met, and only got stronger after they made love for the first. Seriously all the happy sighs for this couple.

The suspense element was very strong in this story, and had a different feel from some of the other books in the series. It started from the very first page and I was pretty much on the edge of my seat trying to piece all the puzzle pieces together. I love when a book keeps me guessing, and Black Out did in spades. I also have to say I loved the time we got to spend with Ian Black. Seriously I'm counting down the minutes until we get his book! It's like I'm waiting for Mendez's book all over again (which was more than worth the wait)!!!

Black Out was definitely another winner from Lynn Raye Harris. Honestly, it is one of my favorite books I've ever read from her. I highly recommend this book and series to all fans of romantic suspense. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Mackenzie Cartwright and Tor Thom did an amazing job with Black Out! They both did an amazing job with both male and female characters, with more than enough distinction between the main characters and the supporting characters. I was never pull out of the story, and both kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was listening to the story. Amazing job by both narrators.

Loving This Series

Tor and Mackenzie bring Colt and Angie to life.

I am really enjoying this look into the men who work for BDI, Ian Black's mercenary group. In this book we meet up again with Colt and Angie who we met originally in Jace and Maggie's story, Black List. Jace is also employed by BDI. Angie was with Maggie when Colt and Jace rescued them. Angie has been guarding her heart for a few years due to a bad break up and was keeping her distance from Colt. Now she finds herself in need of his help when she is in danger with things that arise with her work. Colt has been keeping his head down and working, thinking his job is too dangerous to get involved with any one. Soon the two are spending time together and getting close while Colt is protecting her and trying to find out who is after her. This book was such an entertaining read and the chemistry and passion between Colt and Angie is so great. It was the perfect balance of mystery and intrigue with romance and trust. Wonderful HEA. This is another wonderful read by Ms Harris and I can't wait to read more about Black's Bandits.

I am truly enjoying getting to know the members of Black's Bandits. In the HOT books, they were portrayed as mercenaries, but in their books, you see that they only want to protect the ones they love, including their country. They may not be current military, but they hold themselves to the same standard of protection.

Colt and Angie have had something brewing since the very beginning of the Black's Bandits books. Now we get to see if they can make it work or if too much fear and guilt will destroy them. My money is on Colt to convince her they can work.

There are some interesting twists in this story. Colt's history is revealed and I never expected to learn who he was. And that tiny little tidbit with Ian in London is just a tease of things to come.

Tor Thom and Mackenzie Cartwright did a great job with these characters. I enjoy listening to Tor, but I have not listened to much of Mackenzie before. I felt she really understood Angie and did a standup job with her. She portrayed the fear, strength and love of her character. I'm looking forward to listening to more by her.

I'm in love

It's official, Ian Black's team is my favorite of the HOT teams in the series, even if they aren't actually a HOT team. I loved colt in the first of the Black Bandit's books and felt the chemistry between Angie and him even then. The slow burn feel to their romance is a little different than many of Lynn Raye Harris's books due to the nature of them being heroes put in dangerous situations and often meeting their mate through those circumstances, but the lead-up to the romance here is perfect for these two. Their feelings sneak-up on them before they realize they are even there and make their romance so much better. This could be listened to as a stand-alone, but best if you've listened to the first Black's Bandits Novel first.

nice story

i haven't read the other books in the series so I didnt had a background for the characters but it was easy to get into the story without it.

Colt is very sweet and loving man. Angie seems to be a bit shy and delicate (which i guess she is not in the end)

i felt the story was a bit too sweet and wanted them to get over all the lovey dovey and get into the action.

the narration was very good.

Black Out

I didn’t read anything else in this series first, so I was a little lost on the back story, but it didn’t stop me from being able to follow along on this one.

I’m not always a fan of third person POV, but I’m learning that good narrators make all the difference. These two really helped bring the story to life and kept me interested.

Loved the mystery and how it all played out. Great story and I’ll have to check out more in this series now.

Loved Angie & Colt's romance. This was an action-packed suspenseful thrill ride of a book & I loved every minute of it. The narration really made the story come alive! Can't wait to listen to the next one.

Colt and Angie just made my day, they have an amazing book that is full of suspense and twists and turns that I am completely and utterly in love with. The characters, the side characters all of this adds up to a book that is unmissable and not one to be paused. Fantastic book and narration

Another hit!

I am loving this series! Colt and Angie's story had me hooked from the beginning, I've been waiting for them to get their HEA ever since their first meeting in book 1. Full of suspense and edge of your seat action, it was hard to stop listening to this book, unfortunately real life did need my attention sometimes! Lynn Raye Harris always delivers and Black Out is another fine example of her fantastic writing talent. She is, and has been for many years, an auto buy author for me. I cannot wait to get my hands on her next audiobook!!
