enjoyed it

📖 Story comment: Good pace, likeable characters, interesting plot.
Elle Keaton writes interesting well written Characters and I enjoy the way the world-building and environment of Piedras Island continues to expand and grow as the series progresses. The chemistry and relationship between Matt and Niall continues to strengthen as they head towards their wedding day and unanswered questions from book 1 are wrapped up. I thought this book concluded the series, but as I write this review a fourth book has been released and I am keen to see what happens next.

This book has also piqued my interest in the West Coast Forensics series which I will also explore.

🎧 Narrator comment: I enjoyed Michael Dean's performance. He suits the characters giving them each their own voice and personality, has good timing, inflections and intonations and brings the book to life. Secondary character's voices across the series have also remained consistent, which is appreciated.

Long read

I listened to the audiobook and Michael’s narration became more relaxed as time went by. Thank goodness. The contents, the plot was predictable, but that didn’t keep me from listening to the end.

Such a great story

This is the final leg of this wonderful MM romance. Finally get the end to several mysteries that have been unfolding since book one and new once that have come up along the way. The love and chemistry with these two is just beautiful and I adored every single second of these 3 books. Narration was wonderful.

Michael is definitely not from the PNW

Good storyline, narrator was pretty good with his characters, but his mispronuciation of Pacific NW place names kept taking me out of the story. Since the location is practically a character it definitely started to become annoying. I would have hoped the editors would have corrected this by the 3rd book.
