Misleading title- Do not waste your time reading

This isn't a boss up book- much of it is about laying low- letting the 'ex' figure it out - because you 'want & miss him so bad'. No thanks! How to get him back by being submissive and not being authentic is really what it should have been called. It's not about empowerment or leading on your own. There are no 'Bitch Up' notes in this book. After 4 chapters I was done with this and regretted wasting my audible credit on a low tier book. The reader (speaker) is too monotone and also contributed to the low score.

Good reminder

I listened to this as I was going through a breakup but took him back before I finished. I finished anyway. It's a good kick-in-the-ass to get it together and move forward, even if you think you can't.
We've heard all of this advice before, there is really nothing new. But in the middle of heartbreak, you forget. What's nice is if you and "Mr. X never get back together, you've been working on yourself to become more confident and chances are you've moved on before you are finished listening.
I'm 50. I'm not looking for marriage. A companion who respects me, and is committed to our relationship. I can listen past the author's references to marriage but some listeners may think that is the only goal the author is trying to help you with. You can listen and fit the author's lesson to your needs.
I want my teen daughter to listen to this. Not that I'm eager for her to marry but I want her to know her value and never depend on her partner for her happiness. I want her to not waste time in a bad relationship and realize a relationship does not define her. I think she and younger women will benefit greatly from listening to this book.
Older women, if you get that teen-heartbreak, take a listen. All the advice you've gotten from you mom, sisters, aunts, and/or best-friends is neatly organized here. Ignore the marriage "goal" and let the author remind you, if he doesn't know your value, leave him alone and move on!

Do not read

Since when is a book about a woman have so much connotations to a man. Seriously?! It’s like it was written in the 1950s! Women age strong wonderful incredible people and all you do is talk about how they should be to win back a man or how to make the man miss you. Feminism people! What a disgrace of a book

Best book after a break up

I know after my break up I had a lot of questions on what to do and how to do it and then how I should approach someone who hurt me so much. This book has really helped to give me clarity on what is next for me. Helped me understand that I was settling for what I thought I deserved, instead of what I actually did. If you were looking for a highly informative book this is for you.
