Publisher's Summary

Channeling the voices and wisdom of the otherworldly Guides, Paul Selig offers a way to expand your view of reality and move towards ultimate manifestation.

In 1987, a spiritual experience left Paul Selig clairvoyant. Since then, Selig has established himself as one of the foremost spiritual channels in the world. His unique connection has placed him in contact with the Guides, beings of higher intelligence, who share their voices and wisdom through him.

Expanding on and transcending his previous work, Realization, the first audiobook in the Beyond the Known trilogy, is composed of the pure, unedited words of the Guides as they share their wisdom and knowledge through Selig. It serves a psychological-spiritual guide to take listeners beyond the perceived limitations of accepted reality and open their minds to ultimate manifestation.

Most relevant spiritual book of our time

I read the book and I listened to it too! even though the message is the same the books resonate differently when listened or read. By any means it is not an easy read/listening, nor is it a convenient message, but it is the most deeply transformative work I have ever read/listened to.

Favorite of my favorites

The Selig/Guide books are my most favorite of the books that I've "read" and this book is my favorite. The wisdom transmitted by these books is well beyond the common wisdom that we live by currently. The Realization book is about living from the high-frequency energy that is coming into the world. If you're looking to explore the energy of Love and Wisdom that is expanding beyond our known, this is a great series to check out.

Impactful and Life Changing

As a recent student of The Guides, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book. As I have read and listened to it, a subtle but profound shift has occurred as I have aligned myself to the teachings and the claims made from what they call, “the Upper Room”. Life and my perception of it have been altered and made anew with this teaching. I can abide from a place of love and peace in this room in all that I see and do and that feels life changing to me. I am eternally grateful to The Guides and to Paul for bringing humanity this awareness and remembrance of our inherent divinity. This book is a must read and one I will read again and again.

sit back and enjoy the ride!

in a course in miracles there’s a lesson that starts with saying “I sit back and let the Holy Spirit lead“. while reading through this book I found myself doing just that, something beyond what I ever experienced before took over the show and lifted me higher and higher through the clouds of despair and into a place of dependable pristine joy. I never knew how much fun the spirit could be, It’s like finding out that all your childhood dreams were true, it’s everything you wished it would be. Thank you Paul!

Deeper understanding of Who, What, "How" we are

The beginning of a new trilogy which takes one further up the "octaves" or dimensions of reality. I've been a "student" of Paul's guides for a couple years and I need to say these are beautiful, understandable, and palpable lessons I can certainly feel as much as process. What I mean by that is the teachings are energetic attunements more so than knowledge, though much of that comes through too. I highly recommend.

The guides truly take you beyond the known in this book!

By far the best Selig channeling to date! Having read all previous channeled text by Paul Selig, and attended one of his retreats, I can say that this really elevates you beyond the known and to true realization in divinity. I highly recommend you read all the previous Selig books before tackling this one. Thank you Paul and thank you to the guides.

This book has finally allowed me to integrate and begin to fully embody a level of Love and Knowing I have not experienced before. Thank you so much for this work, this gift.

More unknown

Vague and nebulous in its description and delivery. It talks of “the high room” as a place beyond ourselves. This is a classic misdirect by the non-dual world. Also very poor in its manner to deliver to the reader in applying the principles. Instead it implies the subtle development via the listening to this book, as if through osmosis.
I’m familiar with many teachers who do it much better w/out the odd channeling and prose.

There are worse things which is why I give it 3 stars overall, because ultimately it has truth even though you really have to look deeply and have an understanding of what truth is already.
Would instead recommend Rupert, Adya and Douglas Harding to acquire clearer insight or maybe even as an introduction to this work.

Embracing our Spiritual Creativity

The guides that work with and through Paul Selig offer us all new paradigms and possibilities for assisting humanity in our evolution beyond our current constraints of "the Known".
It is very exciting. It is very challenging. And it is very timely.
And the really good news is that there is nothing to fear! We will evolve and create new realities because that is our divine nature.
Read the book for the joyous details.

This is the best text from the Guides yet!

Building on previous teachings, Beyond the Known is a manual to encounter yourself in a new way. This teaching enables you to recognize and realize Your inherent divinity and thus echo Source in both form and field, should you be willing.

hard work

Convoluted . Perhaps due to possible copyrights infringements, but the "guides" use hundreds of words to express by now quite well understood spiritual ideas, so eloquently & clearly expressed by others before, e.g. Seth. If you can overlook the quite blatant brain washing & hypnotic techniques employed (repetition of mantras from every possible angles ad nauseam ....) then you'll probably realise a few things: 1) it's very New Age 2) teachers in the "UPPER school room" ( under the leadership of ARCH angels no doubt...) actually don't know anywhere as much as Seth for instance or indeed even you, if you're well read. 3) As usual with such books, claims/statements made in one place can & will often contradict claims made elsewhere. For instance, athough they claim that you have a free will & that you absolutely agree or have agreed before birth to everything that will ever have happened to you. However, that agreement happens because a) you give attention something, wanted/unwanted (& you can NOT not give attention to things around you so long that you're alive!) & b) ultimately the God self will over ride your wil & use you as an instrument of the Divine Will if he/she/it chooses so in the the interest of "the common good' - Like the Bible said... as above so below... common interest has been highjacked throughout human history to serve the will & interest of a few. Now you know they were only doing God's Will. Talking of wills, whilst you, the unimportant little self that you are here, won't understand this because you're just a collection of selfish thoughts & concepts, the REAL you wants nothing more really than to be the will of God. Which is just as well, because you came here to serve & serve & serve & serve.
To borrow some words from a critique of Freud's first book: I'll some up this book by saying that it has both good & original ideas. Unfortunately. what is good is not original (everything that's already out there from Seth, to Abraham at al) & what is original is not good (upper room & bloody mantras & pompous overbearing teaching from the 'upper' room)
All IS indeed one & all are equal. But where we are, even in the 'upper' room it seems, some of us are a bit more equal than others, eh, Napoleon?

Long and abstruse

I liked the narration; nice and slow. It is still immensley difficult to comprehend though! A bit too 'serious' for my taste: I prefer my spirituality to have a bit more levity to it. Interesting though.

A new level in Awakening

A book of great learning for someone moving to a new level in awakening. If you are wanting to serve in raising the vibration of the planet, then this text may be for you. You have found this book for a purpose. It is a book that I would listen to first thing in the morning for a learning session for the day. I read “The book of Love & Creation” first & I think this did help to progress through this one. Amazing learning. In Love.
