Publisher's Summary
The Gateway Project was going to save our world by opening up a doorway to infinite versions of our planet. But the threshold has gone completely out of control, sending all those other Earths onto a collision course with ours. Now, our reality is cracking apart.
Abby Corman did not open the Gateway, but she is the only one who knows how to close it. But an alien Hunter and her pack of deadly hellcats have stepped into our world, and they will stop at nothing to kill Abby. Because in a universe of parallel worlds, one Earth’s savior can be the worst criminal other Earths have ever known.
Bewilderness: What Rough Beast continues the gripping tale of science fiction horror as two women - one human, one alien - battle each other to save infinity.

Another score
Part two of this three part story did not disappoint. Another glimpse into the endless fountain of creation, this part finds the survivors encountering shocks at every corner. As always there are those we root for and those we hope meet a gruesome end. Anxiously awaiting the conclusion.

Why?
This book has obvious themes lifted from Dennis e Taylor and Blake crouch. But when the characters started to feel lifted as well, a just had to stop.

Wondrous sci-fi thriller.
One of the best sci-fi thrillers I have ever read. It keeps you on your toes you never know what's going to happen next.

Things go from bad to worse
Now that the threshold has been opened, infinite worlds have been exposed to the technology involved. A hunter comes through, searching for the creator of this technology, in order to put her to an end for the destruction she has wrought. Things continue to worsen for the survivors as more and more changes are brought into this world, and survival seems bleak. Very much looking forward to the final novella!

Ehhhh
I have not finished it, but I am struggling to find a reason to care. The soothing voice trying to deliver a dangerous set of events is just awkward. The back and forth jumping to people who sit and think about things for a decade. I mean it is a cool idea, but it's missing a lot so far. They open a crazy sci-fi technology and the operation sent everyone home and didn't have anyone near the power source to shut it down! An ex spec ops / social influencer who's frozen by thought while hanging for what seems to be days. The human predator thing thinks about hunting without actually hunting. Everyone everywhere Abby this Abby that while sitting there. Again I have not got far, but it's more like watching Amish Mafia the first few episodes than being hooked so far. If it doesn't get better I may have to jump through a portal to end Abby myself considering the huntress is still in thought trying to remember if she turned the fire pit off.

Horrible
Had potential but killed it. Male protagonist is not a believable character and flat lacking depth. Spends way too much time on inconsequential items so the story drags. It misses many opportunities to be better.
