Good questions lead to better decisions.

Discover five game-changing questions to ask every time you make a decision - questions that will help you in your finances, relationships, career, and more.

Your decisions determine the direction and quality of your life. Your decisions create the story of your life. And while nobody plans to complicate their life with bad decisions, far too many people have no plan to make good decisions.

This book will help you live differently.

In Better Decisions, Fewer Regrets, Andy Stanley will help you learn from experience and stop making bad decisions by integrating five questions into every decision you make, big or small.

You'll discover how to:

  • Develop a decision-making filter that reveals which choices will likely lead to positive results in your life.
  • Avoid selling yourself on bad ideas and making quick decisions when time is short.
  • Find truth and clarity in any tricky decision.
  • Improve relationships and heal division through better decisions.
  • Discover the reasons behind your decisions so you can move forward with positive changes.
  • Consider the long-term impact of your choices so you can write a life story worth celebrating.
  • Easily identify any red flags that signal which decisions may result in future regrets.

Better Decisions, Fewer Regrets will set you up for success in every season of life, for the rest of your life.

too preachy

I do not know if the bible is true; and most of this book requires the belief in the absolute truth of the Christian bible for the stories and illustrations to make sense. Further, most of the stories are old testament, which means the Judeo end of the Judeo-Christian ethic. I may have finished it anyway, except that there was more preach than wisdom.

Pleasantly surprised

I bought this book on accident. Yes, you read that right. I had my audible app open on my phone on my lap and when I looked down it said “thank you for your purchase”. I read a different Andy Stanley book in the past and enjoyed it so I decided to give this one a try. It was great! Full of wisdom and good advice for any age! Now I just need to figure out how to tactfully give it to my friends and family without implying they need help with Decision making! Give it a try, you won’t be sorry.

2 hours should be enough.

2 hours should be enough to get the message through, even 1 hour should do it. I totally agree the 5 questions are a good guidance to improve the quality of the decisions you make. Most of the examples the narrator uses are bible stories, if you're not a christian or don't know them it could be hard for you to get to the point. The Joseph betrayal by his brothers.. or the Jesus sacrifice look way too far from today's life. Sometimes I felt I was listening to a preach.

Anyway, Stanley seems to be a nice guy, we learn he's a foster parent.. and a preacher's son, but most of all that he takes a long time to make himself clear.

Great book!

A little shorter than I would have preferred, but is very well laid out. An amazing and insightful book that really has me thinking about my motivations, and how I treat others. It also is massively helpful in figuring out how and why i make decisions, and what the right thing to do is.

Pretentious and repetitive

Hard to write a review on a book like this. Was hoping for more than insults and opinion. Not much psychological insight and a lot of showing off by the contributors. You have to stick with it and work hard to find any steps for personal insight or growth.

Trust me when I say…

I’ve re-listened to this book several times, and can warmly recommend it with confidence. In fact it’s become my default framework for decision making. It’s a framework that I turn to on a regular basis- which has saved me a lot of time, money and energy - I dare even say heartache. Wether you’re more impulsive, logical or emotional in the way you make decisions - this book will provide you with useful insights and questions that actually help. Trust me when I say, if you apply what you hear in this book, you will make better decisions and have fewer regrets.

complete waste of time

I struggled to follow all you did was talking about God and Jesus one point I thought I was reading a religious book.
a title of a book doesn't reflect the story.
I did not benefit anything from this book.
