Amazing

Absolutely amazing I’ve been trading for almost 4 years and have read just about every book to do with trading and nothing even compares. Tom houugard truly understands the mental aspect of trading. The best loser really does win in trading.

For me, the best trading psychology book out there.

I thought I was crazy with my trading style until came across some of Tom’s videos online. If you are looking for winning strategies, chart patterns, or technical analysis, this is not the book for you. However, if you are looking for the psychological side of trading (which is the most important), then this is the book for you. How to take a loss, high stake trading, adding to winning positions and so on. I really enjoyed the book. Although the narrator read well, but I would have love to hear Tom’s voice.

Highly recommended, will listen again.

A great lesson from the greatest living futures trader

They say ‘those who know, do, and those who don’t teach.’ Well, Tom is an anomaly as he does and he teaches. As a member/student of his free Telegram channel I’ve had the privilege of being taught by Tom through all of the things he puts out there for free each day. But his doing (trading) is what we learn from the most. His transparency and no BS way of teaching is unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere. A lot of that is in this book. If you don’t know about Tom, this book is a good way to begin. If you do, then I don’t have to tell you to try this book. You already know.

I could live without it

I discovered Tom Hougaard on a very enjoyable podcast episode. I figured I would get the book mentioned therein. First of all, the book is VERY well written, I have no complaints there. The poem in the intro was fantastic and I thought I was in for the ride of my life - but not so. There wasn't much original content. I have heard every single piece of advice elsewhere. To give credit where credit is due, Tom presents the keystone of his success in an influential way that caused me to reflect on my approach as a trader...and that's the whole point to consuming this content, isn't it? You may want to listen for yourself, it just might make or break you.

Best trading psych book I've read

This was a really easy read for me. Very relatable and engaging the whole time.

One of The Best

This book has helped me tremendously with the mental part of trading and position management as well. I highly recommend.

Don't make another trade before reading this book.

I have been trading for 5 plus years everyday. I have on average a 70 something win rate and sometimes as high as 80 something. But being consistently profitable has been elusive to me. I have blown up too many accounts to count! My technical skills are definitely better than average and knew that in order to become consistently profitable I needed to work on my mental game. So I started reading every book out there on trading psychology. Some were good, some were sort of helpful and many were down right painfully boring. This book is what I have been looking for! I have listened to it 3 tmes in the past 2 weeks and I am now reading the unabridged version. I plan on listening to it everday until I am consistently profitable. I am already holding my winners longer. 🏆 Tom Hougaard has written the Best of the Best in the mental game of trading. Look No Further! Thank you Tom for sharing your deep wisdom, your strengths, your flaws and how you overcame them. This book speaks to every trader. I am forever grateful.

A fantastic look at the mindset of trading. A gem!

A fresh look and insight into the required mindset to becoming a successful trader. Well written with good stories of a traders journey by someone who has lived it and came out the other side sucessfully, and still sane. Trading is a batter of whit over emotion and Tom has done all traders a favor with this book. Get it. Read it. You'll love it. I found it when I really needed it most. great trading book

this book takes up where trading in the zone ended. GREAT for those yet to understand what trading requires.

The missing link to trading.

The way we handle loss in trading and or in life is the determining factor of how well will will grow and succeed, some people take it personally and some study it and search how to get better from it, if you can’t admit your wrong in trading you probably can’t admit your wrong in life when you make mistakes, trading is a reflection of how you deal with life (in my experience) this book is one of the real ones, doesn’t look like he is trying sell you on anything, but genuinely help you. In my top 3 books on trading.
