Awesome trading knowledge and advice

I’m so glad I just ran into this audiobook, it’s a read treasure trove of great information. I learned quite a few things from him! I like the idea of doing his assessment yearly to see my progress in trading. Great service to to listeners. Definitely one of the books I’ll listen to many times.

Possibly the most insightful trading book so far

I have read and listened to many trading and investing books and they range from almost useless to quite useful. Donnelly's book seems to be the most insightful so far, and I think the main reason I feel that way is that he constantly drives home the fact that being successful trader is very difficult and you constantly have to be thinking about your edge and trying to come up with new ideas. As he puts it, the barrier to entry is pretty low, so the competition is fierce. You can't succeed by thinking and behaving like everybody else. There are plenty of other books out that that present a simple strategy for successful trading, but Donnelly insists that if it were that easy it wouldn't pay well.

I have read three books that have changed my trading career number. one would be the best loser wins. number two would be trading in the zone in this book alpha trader would be number three, if you read these three books you have literally all the tools you need to be a trader
