Jazzy has never wanted to back out of a bet. Until now.

In the heat of an argument, she made a bet and immediately regrets it. She can’t just back out of the bet without risking her friendship and acceptance in the circle of friends who own the Hideaway Club.

She’s never been the aggressor in a relationship, always happy to let the guy take the lead, but now Jazzy must figure out how to approach the super-sexy, heavily muscled, gorgeous Gage Swift and get him to go out with her. She must break free of her prudish beliefs, the strictures of the past, and overcome her fear. She plans to do it, proving to herself once and for all her past has no hold over her future.

With his jet black hair, tattoos, and emerald eyes, Gage promises pleasure with no strings attached. That’s exactly what Jazmyn needs, not only to win the bet, but to move forward in life, to transform, to learn to be content and happy again.

Will Jazzy reach out and take what she so desperately needs, or will she let her past destroy her future happiness?

I was given this free review copy audio-book at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Jazzy is a woman not as "outgoing" as her friends. They make a bet that Jazzy can't have sex without a relationship (they think Jazzy is a prude). Jazzy likes Gage and when he comes to help fix something words are said and things start to happen, Jazzy starts to think her friends put Gage up it and she gets upset. Gage has no clue what Jazzy is talking about, she is embarrassed and leaves. Jazzy hears a knock on her door, it's Gage. Do they overcome the misunderstanding? Scott Wylder does a great job with this short story and Narrator Juliana Solo does a great job with the characters and story.

The narrator is good and made me want more. The story itself is too short. In my opinion it is little more than a teaser to get me to buy the actual story. Since this is the first I’ve heard or read by this author I’m more disappointed. I didn’t get a feel for what kind of writer he is. I don’t know if he writes real steamy books. I don’t know if they are heartbreakers. I don’t know if I would or would not enjoy his writing. This is a bad intro to the author.

This was a very short and also sweet story about Jazzy and Gage. A bet between friends makes a wish come true for Jazzy.

I was expecting more from this story. The idea of the bet I really didn't understand why she made it.
I wanted to continue listening to see where they end up.
Story could have been a little longer.
will follow author as understand his writing style and re-review this book.
