Godwin does it again!! So much going on ...Truly amazing story of mans ability to rise above injustice and pain!!
I loved this book, so good I could not stop listening!
There is far too much happening for me to try to explain! So get the book and see for yourself . Fantastic performance from Kale Williams and Lisa Zimmerman to really make the story come alive!

Dark, Twisted Beautiful story

I first read this book in 2017 when I met the author for the first time. Dark romance is my favorite genre and I bought the paperback, thickest book I have ever read! I devoured it in a week! Both main characters Jay and Charle have demons in their past to overcome. They are strong characters that symbolize resilience and find ways to overcome the obstacles life gave them. I enjoyed the audiobook, good narration for both main characters. Definitely recommend if you like dark romance!

Goes on & on & on....90+ chapters🙄

In the begining i was hooked, line n Sinker. At chapter 60 they lost me.

Charlee was so cool n strong in the first half of the book. Jay was wounded n searching but a nice guy. They both ended up being unsure n lame.
I wouldve much rather this ended as soon as nathan rescued her. Nathan sounded intriguing. I would like to finish just to see Roy get whats coming to him but i dunno if i can stand anymore. I Would love to hear a dark book with all the really kinky, dominating, rough stuff and then the victim, woman, turns around and gets revenge. Torture revenge. Maybe a little blood thirsty but would be a nice change. And since when are dudes going comando sexy? Nasty in my opinion. A nice pair of boxer briefs are HOT.

I don’t have a lot of words. All I can say is wow this book was amazing.

Great book, lots of everything exciting

I really have no complaints, the main H/h were phenomenal, the drama was enough, spicy as hell, HEA, secondary characters amazing, Pam is real such a queen in the book world, all her stuff keeps me glued and invested the entire time. My first book by her was Dark Notes and then I got down a rabbit hole of reading EVERYthing of hers. Dark and delicious is how I describe her novels. My stomach turns JUST enough during her books to keep me invested but not give up. The best way to treat Dark romance novels, don't stop even though you kind of want to. 😉

Loved every word

I was sucked into the story immediately. Fell in love with the main characters both individually and as a couple. A story of pain, survival, terror, healing, and triumph. An emotional and powerful journey of two tortured souls. Fantastic narration!!

What am intense and powerful story. Had me engrossed until they very last word. Pam Goodwin gets me every time.

Amazing story

Beneath the burn will draw you in and not let go. Charlie and Jay meet at her tattoo parlor one night after a show his band performed. He was looking for a way to chase away his demons for the night and decided a tattoo was the best option. He was drawn to Charlie from the moment he met her. Charlie was hiding from her own demons and knew a kindred spirit when she saw one. She was hopeful that her art would help Jay settle some. Charlie was running from a man who kept her enslaved. This book was full of heat and drama. Charlie got captured by the man who enslaved her again. Everyone was told she was dead. She later escaped with help and a few years later got to see Jay again who never forgot her. Charlie and Jay had to fight threw their personal demons as well as trying to avoid and keep her safe from the man who wants to keep her. You will be kept on your toes wondering if Charlie will ever be free. Will Jay ever be able to overcome his past and let go of his vices he uses to drown the demons out? You will not be able to put this one down!!

Brilliant!

Beneath The Burn is brilliant! Jay and Charlee are tortured souls who are inexplicably drawn to each other in this heartbreaking, dark rockstar romance. I was gripped by the intensity of this love story, it’s a raw, gritty, and emotional read that I absolutely recommend.
