Well worth it

A new favorite author for me. I look for wit, humor and hot encounters from this genre. Ms. Alan delivered all the goodies.

This book tested my patience. Kennedy was frustratingly unlikeable!

Kennedy was exhausting: mean, manipulative, and unlikeable for nearly the entire story, constantly making bad choices and treating Roman terribly. He deserved better and honestly carried the book.
The story dragged a simple misunderstanding out until the very- very end. By the reveal, I was over it. And the reason was soooo dumb! Go to other platforms and read the reviews. I want to be mean and add it here but I won't. Great premise, but painfully drawn out with zero payoff...just lots of frustration. I wanted to DNF soooooo many times. I kept coming here to look for review but none really explained what I was in for here.
The narrators were great...but its hard for them alone to carry the story when its monologues and irritating decisions.

Past present

This story went back from present to past then again. Hate this kind of formula as I was enjoying the story then BOOM past! Didn’t enjoy listening to this story and the sex scenes were told mostly from h POV. Didn’t care for this formula.
