Then, her only concern became him. His hurt was evident, and she was determined to be there for him in every way that she could. That was a lot easier said than done, and from the looks of things, one night wasn't going to cut it. Little did Bree know her need to console him would open a door that her heart wasn't quite ready for. But everything happens for a reason.

See what happens when two friends recognize that their path to true love always included each other. Will they stay on the journey and see how much their love is truly meant to be? Or will a new form of betrayal creep in and ruin everything they believe?

I enjoyed this story, the author provided character development and arcs that held my attention.

The narrators did a solid job; the female performer did a better job of emoting and distinguishing between characters. The male performer has a nice tone, but he tended to rush through certain parts of the dialogue and narration. He was particularly strong in delivering the emotional scenes, though. With a little more training, I’d like to hear more from him in perhaps a rom-com.

I agree with a few others that the book cover didn’t match the MMC’s personality, and that was an adjustment in the early stages of the book.

I really liked the story, it was cute and predictable with a lot of spice. FYI the "hood" dude on the cover did not match the actual male character lol

My 1st book by this author and I'm impressed. I'm definitely going to be looking out for more

Not what I was expecting

The cover art does not match the characters. I wasn’t a huge fan of the storyline but that was because I was not invested in the characters.

The story was just okay

I fully agree the previous reviewer Ebony. the picture on the book doesn't match the male narrator AT ALL.

The book went from 0 to 100 faster than the blink of an eye. There was no smooth transition or segway into it, in my opinion.
