How to belittle women

I don’t mind stories about alpha males. But in this one girl had a role of a dumb one with no brain. And the narrator was just as bad. Seriously no woman is THIS dumb!!

What can I say - it’s a book

I love that this book is in the plus catalogue on audible so I can listen to the series. Not my favorite, not the worst. The voice actors are ok. The female lead makes the dude sound like he’s always trying to be sexy. It’s annoying but you get used to it. I did. like the twist at the end. It’s not very often I don’t see it coming.

This duet totally sucked me in from start to finish. I loved how it all played out and look forward to more from this author

Dark & gritty

A darkly twisted, raw, sinfully delicious and jaw dropping romance. Christian and Sian continue on with their weirdly seductive and emotional roller coaster ride. I have to say that as gritty as this story is, I loved every single depraved moment of it.

Definitely worth a 2nd read!

loved both books. listened twice so far. am likely listen to them a third time.

Was better than the first book

I love the plot and the setting in this book. no characters love story was enemies to lovers.

Interesting and disturbing.

If you or someone you know has been the victim of human trafficking and or rape, then don’t read this. It wouldn’t be healthy for you.

The victim in this story was infuriating, of course it’s just a story but it’s so unrealistic. No woman being trafficked and raped would act like she did.

The narrators did a great job.

dark but very entertaining

This was a dark suspense novel with a lot of twists & turns. I'm not surprised about the relationship with Cynthia. It was rather expected given how she nurtured over Shawn. However the addition of another sibling in Christians family was a shock. I'm glad they opted to work together and got to know each other rather than arguing over things they couldn't change. The author did a great job of keeping him secret during a majority of the story. The narrators were great and they made the storyline more entertaining.

If you read book 1 and thought it was too dark, you should be happy with the ending of this book. FMC got some back bone! She isnt a badass but she raises hell in her own way. The ending was disappointing to me, too many long, sappy monologues and too much personality shift in MMC. I'm glad he was nicer, but he seemed like a completely different person. It just took a very "disney perfect" HEA direction that clashed with the vibes of book 1 and the first half of book 2.

The narration also got annoying and I dont know what happened after book 1. The male narator doing a femal voice got comical in this book.
