Publisher's Summary

He’s my teacher, I’m his student.

He’s my boss...I’m his daughter’s nanny.

Gordon is mature and experienced, and I have a thing for silver foxes. But I can’t let him know how I feel. Or show him in any way.

Problem is, I’m falling in love.

How could I not when Gordon looks at me like I’m his biggest fantasy? Or his worst nightmare. But which one is it? And does he feel the same way?

Beau Pair is the first book in Rhys Everly’s steamy, low-angst, teacher-student romance series, A Proper Education. It contains an age-gap pairing, sizzling romance, and high levels of cuteness.

Now this is such a sweet listen. I love Beau and Gordon! They tried to fight being together but they are just perfect got each other. It's amazing to see how these to work out their relationship and how they both have amazing friends to help along the way. John York does an amazing job bring all these characters to life. I just couldn't stop listening. Absolutely amazing!

John York brings a great story to life!

The story is a sweet (with plenty of sexy) escape to Virginia and Harlow U. You've got a silver fox professor, a sweet fashion designer/nanny, and a family that shows what is important along with great friends and possibly some people we will see again. And Rhys's sexy times scenes.

sooo good!!!

This was an amazingly sweet, fluffy read with a dose of sizzling steaminess!! Gordon is a college professor that needs an au pair for his 2-year-old daughter, Elsie. Beau is starting college and takes on the job of au pair for Gordon. Gordon is a sexy silver fox and Beau craves him. I loved the age gap romance. They have an immediate attraction and fight it. The characters were so very enjoyable, especially Zoe and Dolly. The story was well written with strong character development. John York did an amazing job with the narration!

Teacher and student troupe!

Beau and Gordon. This couple is totally hot. Gordon is a professor with a kid. He meets Beau, sparks fly but he is his nanny. And to top that his student. Their best friends are a side addition to the pair. It’s a fun story... kinky too.

Sweet, funny, sexy

This is a fantastic audiobook. It's sweet, funny, sexy, snarky, and did I mention HOT! I loved Beau and Gordon. Despite all the taboos - student/professor, nanny/employer, and a 16 year age difference - these two can't keep their hands (or other body parts) off each other. Add in a supporting cast of two lesbian romance writing best friends (one of Beau and one of Gordon), Beau's 70-something year old mother, and Gordon's sweet 2 year old daughter, and you have one entertaining listen. I appreciated the power exchange between Gordon and Beau, and how Beau took charge. This is a great, low-angst listen. Beau just has to convince Gordon that age is nothing but a number.

The narration was perfect for these characters. Each had a distinctive and very personable quality. Great delivery.

I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and am voluntarily leaving this honest review

Steaming hot!

WOW! Steaming hot does not even begin to describe this book!
Really different from Rhys Everly’s usual IMO, but so, so worth it! This book has a maybe mismatched, but functional, very funny and loving enlarged family and enough heat to set my ears on fire!
Beau and Gordon are just perfect for each other, despite the significant age difference and all the other possible obstacles between them; they just click, and it’s perfect!

A hint of taboo and so much snark!

Story: Beau is hands down one of my favorite characters! Loved his attitude and the development of a relationship with Gordon! It was hot, but more than that, it was super sweet! The dialogues were absolutely brilliant!
Narration: great performance. I wasnt a fan of the female parts, but it was overall a great audio and a pleasure to listen to!

Sass and live all the way

I so love the sass and love in this book. Beau and Gordon are perfect for eachother and have a great dynamic. Dolly and Zoey are a fun side couple. And Elsie is adorable. The narration is spot on and so lively. This narrator is new to me, but I will keep an eye out for more of his work.
