Rico Banderas is a cocky but good-hearted smuggler, accompanied by his sassy AI companion Sam. While on a routine cargo run in his aging freighter The Sapphire, Rico is suddenly attacked by mysterious raiders. The female Beastkin are instinctively drawn to Rico's rugged good looks and confident swagger. And when he successfully fends off a slaver attack, they begin to view him as a prophesied hero who will help free them from oppression.

With his ship beyond repair for now, Rico agrees to help the Beastkin in exchange for their aid in locating the rare minerals needed to get back home. But the more time he spends with these charming and beautiful animal girls, the less incentive he has to actually leave...

Great blend of scifi and fantasy!

This book has flown under the radar. Trust me and give it a shot. Great world building and characters!

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I hope there are more books to come in this series! The MC is great along with a really good supporting cast! The story is captivating! The narrators also do a good job of bringing the story to life! Great job Austin Beck!

This is a great start to what I hope will be another amazing Beck HaremLit series.
The characters and action and spice are awesome.

Dungeon raid scaled out to planet sized proportions!

Technology and magic mixed in with beast kin! Our hero struggles with PSD to save the villagers!

love this story

I love everything that Barbie Jean narrates so I was excited to see her narrating this story!

Not very exciting

First off, the male narrator has an outstanding voice that I am jealous of. However, his speed and pacing really didn't help me stay interested in this story.
Second, the story is just boring and I couldn't stay interested for longer than a couple of hours at a time.

Tried for a 'sexy' Firefly x StarWars mash up.. and completely muffed it. Rambling and incoherent plot. Weak character development.
Whispering Cowboy is definitely not Stone's (male VA) forte.
This one's probably getting sent back.
