One grumpy boy...

Ethan's Valentine's Day isn't going well. He's been talked into attending a pretentious premier gala with his ex-boyfriend at movie mogul Charles Weston’s posh Beverly Hills mansion. Ethan’s plan is to hit up the free bar for all the gin they'll give him, then slink home, alone. Instead, he gets lost in the host's mansion, runs into a handsome stranger, and suddenly, his night takes a sharp turn for the better.

Plus one lonely man...

Charlie has everything he could ever want, except someone to love, and he's just about given up trying to find him. Then, at his party, he stumbles upon a young man gawking at his Cezanne and cursing his name. Charlie is amused, then charmed, then turned on by Ethan, who can't shut up and has the biggest blue eyes Charlie has ever seen.

Equals the most memorable Valentine’s Day, ever!

Both know that falling into bed with a stranger is a terrible idea, but it might turn out to best mistake either has ever made.

Be My Mistake is a prequel of sorts to Damage Control, but can be listened to on its own. It’s a scorching hot Valentine’s Day novella with a mouthy twink, the best daddy ever, a lot of John Hughes references, a ridiculous mansion which may or may not contain a twink pit, and, of course, a HEA.

Oh man, I love this story.

So in here we have Ethan, a young fella who was dumped by his best friend/boyfriend who is a famous actor. Ethan works for tmz and had mentioned that he was going to a party thrown by a famous rich guy named Charles Weston. So even though they broke up, Ethan still had to go.

Charlie is a Daddy in search of a boy and while Ethan was not already a boy, he was willing to go along with it.

I wish all mansions came with a twink pit.

This all happens over a weekend but if one just goes with the flow, it makes sense. I love the whole vibe.

The epilogue is three years later, and I felt that it made sense and gave them time to get to know each other.

Michael Ferraiuolo did a good job, I just wish Charlie had a stronger voice when being all stern Daddy.

Le sigh...

Nice short daddy kink mm romance. Always a good buy when it's Michael Ferraiuolo, Love his voice and the life he brings to each character. Worth the credit and your time to listen.

Daddy!!!

I have loved this audio/story since it came out and I revisit it because it’s so short and sweet. It has just the right amount of everything. Instant love (which I know gets a bad rap but it really does happen or at least it did for me), humor and heat mixed with just the right amount of daddy to help Ethans mind from spiraling too much. I just want more!
Also Michael Ferraiuolo always knocks it out of the park. Can’t say enough good things about his narrations.

More Charlie and Ethan

I listened to this after listening to Damage Control and Daddy Issues. It's nice to see how Ethan and Charles get together. It's hard to believe this story takes place in such a short amount of time; it definitely doesn't seem like a short story. The epilogue was perfect and their HEA was believable.

As always, I loved Michael Ferraiuolo's narration. The different voices he gives all of the characters is exceptional.

I kind of wish I had listened to this first. It just gives me a reason to re-listen to this series.

Short, but Satisfying Addition to the Series
