Good read

I am such a fan of this series! Alicia's storyline isn't as interesting to me as that of Curtis and Charlotte, though. I really like this narrator!

Very good read; hard to put down

This author proves once again that she can write and tell a story! This book is a very good read, and anyone following the Curtis Black family will marvel at his redemption in the faith community, and how his daughter Alisha marries someone just like her father! Overall, an enjoyable read. At times, I found it hard to put this book down!. Definitely worth the read!

I am a Fan

I have enjoyed the Rev. Black books for years and this one put his daughter in the same footsteps we have seen him make. This time her morales are laxed and her new husband is the pain.

Captivating storytelling

I was hooked and couldn’t stop listening. Many twists and turns, I thought I figured out the ending. Nope, a priceless ending suited for husband and man of cloth.

A generous 4 star

The story line was pretty good. It was a tad predictable. Didn't like readers voice.

Kimberly Lawson Roby has done it again!

I enjoyed this Christian fiction book, and I also like books by the author, Kimberly Lawson Roby. She tells a story in such a way that she keeps the reader’s attention. I would recommend the book to others who enjoy Christian fiction; however, I must admit that the narrator often hesitated for what seemed like an excessive period of time.

Narration

I think she should have actual male voices, instead of women trying to sound like a man But it was good. I wondered what would happen to JT not enough if you ask me.

Same old thing...I'm done!

I think that I'm a little tired of the Curtis Black series. After a while the story lines are all the same...greed, cheating, lying, etc. Although this might happen in some churches, the author makes it seem as if this is the norm. In addition, for me, the narrator left a lot to be desired.
