It turns out he’s one of Zav’s enemies, and he wants to use me against him.

I don’t know why he’s picking on me — it’s not like I mean something to Zav — but somehow I’ve gotten stuck in the middle of dragon politics. If you think that sounds like a nightmare, you’re right.

If I can’t figure out a way to help my friend with the werewolves while keeping these dragons from tearing me apart, we’re both going to end up flatter than the deck chairs when Zav lands on the roof of my apartment building.

Great story, good development of characters and descriptions of location, etc. Narrator is perfect. Have the next book downloaded and ready to hear.

Normally I love your books. But........

I normally love Lindsay's books, I've read almost all of them. But I'm having trouble getting into this storyline.

The storyline just seemed to be slow and repetitive. Just not the best fit for me this time. And while I like Vivienne's main character voice, many of her other characters sound too much the same. I found this very distracting at times.

Sorry Lindsay, maybe the next series. As I said I've loved all your other books.

A Must Have Series

I listen to a LOT of books and this series is definitely a cut above almost anything else you'll listen to. The writing is witty (I love the main character's snark) and the characters are well thought out/ well constructed. I'm zooming through this series!!!
