When he arrives back in LA after 10 years away, the last thing Sam expects is to end up being roped into pretending to be with the man he'd left behind for the sake of a magazine article. As if facing their feelings for each other after so long wasn't hard enough, Ben unexpectedly stumbles across the story that will save Ballsy while at the retreat. Will he still have time to repair his relationship with Sam? Or will both men's doubts and fears get in the way of their happily ever after?

Beautiful!

Such a sweet and wonderful story about first love and courage and broken heart! Love the fact the MCs are a bit older and not fresh out of college confused and restless. Joel is so fantastic as usual!!

another sweet one

Again, a short and sweet second chance love story. These two were meant to be, happy they found their way back to eachother. Excellent narration.

I so enjoyed these books

Really glad I found Sean Ashcroft. These characters are real. The books are well-written. They are a perfect mix of funny and serious, spice and substance. Speaking of, the spicy scenes are so well-done, evoking all the senses. Really nice. Exactly what I needed right now.
Joel Leslie is, well, Joel Leslie. Can always count on a solid performance from him. He’s particularly good at capturing the tone of a book. It makes a big difference in the narration.

Another great performance

Joel Leslie is a great voice actor - he brings out the perfect character voices. Sean Ashcrofts Cocky series could totally be a tv series IMO. Easy going but full of life, love, and a taste of espionage.

This is such a sweet tale between two men finding their place in the world and then back in their lives.

Omg this audio book was absolutely positively amazing. I would highly recommend this audio book.

Two in friends in late 30s

Nice to have a story featuring men in their 30s. It is an enjoyable jaunt into rediscovering friendship and lost love.

Interesting story

Relationship could have been more developed. Overall entertaining and romantic. Like a lot of these stories, was kind of repetitive.

Validating, wonderful, lovely, great story! The kind of gay love story we deserve!!! Was so happy to find out Cocky had a sequel!

Sweet story

Quick but enjoyable continuation from the first book. the story and writing are fine. I'm not the biggest fan of the narrator and I would say this is one of his lesser renditions, but it's still pretty good. if you like the first book then you'll like the second one.
