Even more fun to listen to!

I enjoyed this a lot when I read it, and even more when I listened to it a few months later! The narrator did a fantastic job bringing Riley and Seth to life. I can’t wait for more in the series!

Perfect Duo

Grae Bryan has written a wonderful romance and Michael Ferraiuolo provides the sweet voice that brings us inside the story.

Seth, a kind baker who realizes he is missing a connection with his special someone, becomes enamored with the quiet young man who keeps showing up in the early hours, before his shop opens.

The connection between these two, and the additional characters that surround them, is emphasized by the melodic tones of Michael’s voice.

Grae writes with a sweet humor that you feel deep in your soul. Michael helps us hear the love, the pain, the fear and the joy.

My heart is always happy that I can enjoy time with this author and narrator!

Heartwarming Story

Riley was more than I expected. He was more vulnerable. His character was beautifully written and narrated so well! Loved Seth for him and the cast of side characters! Great story!

Love it

Grae never writes a bad book. I was hooked from the first page. Sucked into this story and love hearing about other characters from Grae’s other books. Little crossovers are a favorite of mine. Michael did fantastic with the narration.

Grae Bryan Is An Auto Buy!

In Grae Bryan's newest paranormal MM romance we get excellent adult level writing and imagination. No AI authored book or YA book here. Riley was turned as a child, a crime in the vampire world because children have zero self control when their hunger for blood controls them. Riley struggles with his inner hunger and hunts animals for his nourishment, believing that if he tries to eat from a human he'll lose control and kill that human. Seth left his home in Maine to get out of a life rut. Seth opens a bakery in a small town on the Washington coast hoping a new start will ease his sense that there should be more to life. His delicious pastries slowly, too slowly for his liking, bring the towns people into his bakery. Riley encounters Seth when he's leaving work one night and is immediately drawn to his scent of orange cake. Riley soon finds Seth irresistible and ventures into town among the humans just to hang out in Seth's bakery.
This is a really good book if you like the genre. Listening to Riley and Seth's gradually increasingly romantic interactions in the often amusing circumstances Grae Bryan creates was quite enjoyable and addictive. Her sex scenes are just yum and not gratuitous. I listened to this book without much interruption since I got hooked into Seth and Riley's world so completely. Michael Ferraiuolo is a talented voice actor, he never disappoints.
