This Is What Perfection Sounds Like!

This book! THIS AUDIOBOOK!! It is EVERYTHING! I loved Mike and Dennis when I read their story when it was released. But then-Harley Chase! Harley. Freaking. Chase!! His narration of Mike AND Dennis-I don't have words to describe how perfect he was. Harley took it to a whole other level with this one! Whatever magic he always has, is turned up to 100 on this one! Wow! Wow, wow, wow! If I could give this a million stars I would!

If you haven't read It's Only Love yet, you need to!! It's best-friends-to-lovers, camping on the beach, rescuing hurt dogs, and absolutely swoony! Mike and Dennis are couple goals. This one will stay with you forever, so make room in your mind because they are about to live there rent free!

Beautiful!

I loved this book, and when I found out it was coming to audio, I was quite excited! Mike and Denis are one of my favorite couples I've read. From Denis's pining to Mike's cluelessness... it was all complete perfection! And Harley, once again, did an amazing job bringing these characters to life!

Harley Chase is on of my favorite narrators and he truly brought Dennis and Mike to life. There was just something about Dennis and Mike that had me from the start. The beginning chapters left such an ache in my heart. I wanted them together so badly. I could feel Dennis' pain, pining and rejection. On the flip-side I could feel Mike's grief, and unsteadiness as well. Their intimacy developed in such a beautiful way. It was the sweetest of slow burns. Towards the end the ache was gone and I was left with just a feeling of contentment. It was a beautiful story, one that I will keep close to my heart.

This book was everything I didn’t know I needed—and more. I absolutely loved it. A beautiful, heartfelt story of longing, unrequited love, enduring friendship, grief, and second chances. From the first pages, it’s impossible not to fall in love with both main characters. At its core, it’s a story of self-discovery and a love worth waiting for. 💛
