Another winning book in a great storyline

The imperium is confronted with a mysterious enemy from the east. But unlike other enemies, this one seems to have technology and leadership that truly is more an equal. For the first time in the war effort, the imperium is on its back foot with the east. I found myself constantly asking if there was another time traveler yet to be revealed. Even as the imperium’s ability to produce more complicated modern weapons, they can’t seem to produce them fast enough. It’s pretty obvious fairly quickly that there must be a spy or someone in the east that has knowledge from a modern world. If I have anything negative, it’s that I wanted more more information more background just more. The storyline goes quickly and I listen to it in a matter of a few days.

Congratulations to Travis Starnes for his ability to keep enriching his great series, exciting and surprising. As such, I look forward to the next volume with much anticipation...
