Phantom Files

An AJ Docker and Banshee Thriller

By: Gary Gerlacher

Narrated by: Matthew Spaur

A brutal murder of a well-known and respected senior physician at Tempe General shocks the community. But it's just the beginning-a violent avenger stalks the hospital's corridors and more people may be on his kill list.

After AJ Docker fails to resuscitate the first victim, he is determined to prevent further violence. With his friend Dirk at his side and Banshee guarding his back, Doc hunts for the killer. His inquiries uncover the hospital's dark, sordid past and lead him to seek files rumored to contain information that might identify the killer. No one knows whether the files actually exist, and it's unclear who is helping Doc and who might be helping the killer.

Phantom Files once again showcases Gerlacher's medical knowledge skillfully integrated with a complex plot full of twists and turns. The pace is fast, the action intense, and the characters unforgettable-as readers have come to expect from this bestselling series.

Fast paced, accurate medically, interesting and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Love that Banshee follows him to work. Love that the medical part is accurate. The story is fave paced and keeps your attention throughout.
Can’t wait for the next one.

That MRI scene did take my breath away.

liked the whole series and your narrators waiting for the next book with anticipation. must add became interested from a Facebook tutorial

Banshee for the win! Love these stories

Medical drama combined with a whodunit. Always an enjoyable listen, and Banshee is my favorite part

Good story and narration

Good story but not as fast paced or detailed as previous books in this series. No romance to spice it up. Lacked detail in medical procedures and descriptions usually found in previous books. Narration was good. Many thanks for switching narrators from the last book!

Super entertaining

I've read all 6 books now and I can say I am blown away at how consistently entertaining these books are! I loved every single one. Most authors will have a book or 2 that isn't as good as the others. Not true for Mr. Gerlacher! I am a dog lover, so Banshee has a lot to do with my love of these stories, but Doc is a great character and the plots are so thrilling! Keep 'em coming, Gary!
