Beatrice just had the week from hell. After being brutally murdered in the dead of night at her job, she wakes up in the presence of a goddess who offers her the chance to reincarnate in a new world governed by a game-like system. Accepting the offer, she takes the opportunity to reinvent herself. Taking the name Cassandra, she appears in this new world, but before she can even start exploring the starter dungeon, she is ambushed and turned into a vampire. After being rescued from the vampire that turned her, she now must find her way in a world similar to modern Earth, but with magic and monsters, all the while dealing with the reality of being a vampire.

Moonrise is a slow-burn, urban fantasy with elements of LitRPG, slice of life, and sapphic relationships.

busy start, Strong foundation

The story starts off quite busy and leaves the impression of a mess of a story, but the elements mesh really well together and sets a strong foundation for the rest of the series. I look forward to what's next

Okay now that you have me hooked...

WOW, what a story! I am so o looking forward to the next in the series. it took me a minute to get into the story after the basic intro. at first it was dull because the writer was setting up the background, but after you get past the initial boring stuff the story blossoms. it doesn't blossom like a firewotbut more like a rose. I am really looking forward to the next in the series so...

Great start

it's a great start to the series I hope the next installment is fast in coming, I also love Tess and her narration

enjoyable pacing

the story has an amazing pace and is very interesting to listen to. Unlike some isekai I have read or watched, it gives a real life feel to what can happen, what can go wrong, and the feelings those events can produce: hopelessness, depression, worry, etc. And the story gives the indecision that some stories don't show in regards to how to proceed with a new life. very enjoyable and can't wait to read the next book

Better and Better as it went on

This started very interesting and then hit a bit of a lull. It seemed as if the character was on easy street early on. However, as the story progressed it really developed well. The side characters filled out and the world got more and more interesting. I’ll likely check out the next one.
