Starlight Cove's prim little librarian has despised me since the first day I parked my motorcycle on her sidewalk. Now our feud has landed us as roommates…and she just asked me to teach her every dirty thing she's never experienced.
Making Penelope Shea lose her mind has been my favorite hobby since she moved here. But our infamous daily sparring backfires when the town's meddling grandma sentences us to five hundred hours of community service…or thirty days of living together.
Penelope chooses cohabitation with the enemy to protect her spotless record. I agree because watching her unravel sounds like fun.
What I don't expect is to discover my rule-enforcing roommate has secrets—namely, a hidden career penning filthy romances and a list of sinful lessons she's written about but never learned firsthand.
Like an idiot, I volunteer as her tutor.
Penelope calls it research. I call it trouble. Because somewhere between her first lesson and her first tattoo, she goes from being in my head to being in my bed. Now she's under my skin as permanently as my ink is under hers. Our month is almost up. But I've never been good with rules—and letting her walk away isn't one I plan to follow.

The Roommate Rules by Brighton Walsh is the fourth book in Steele Brothers series.
Declan, the bad boy tattoo artist, who constantly bothers Penelope, the librarian, by parking in front of the library, always having overdue books and just being his unapologetic self. She has put in so many complaints that it goes to town court where they’re sentenced by the town grandma to cohabitate for 30 days. Penelope has secrets and Declan surprises Penelope by not being who she expected. Also, Declan helps Penelope out with some… ummmm… educational lessons for writing motivation purposes.
This book had it all! Steele brothers we have read about and loved, quirky townspeople, sassy and strong women, protective “touch her and die” vibes, hate to love, close proximity, and spice! I love to see characters grow emotionally and for past trauma to be dealt with together. I laughed, I teared up, I gasped- all the emotions. Up until this book I felt that while I loved all the brothers, Atlas was my favorite. Well, I am here to say officially that Declan is my favorite Steele brother.
The narrators, Aiden Snow and Charlotte North, were the absolute perfect Declan and Penelope. This duet narration brought every character to life and was exactly how I would expect the characters to be.
Also, do not skip out on the bonus material!!! The epilogues take place at multiple time periods and I loved it!
My favorite Steele brother!!!

This book has everything you need for a fantastic day of listening as the fourth Steele brother falls head over heels for his girl. Brighton Walsh herself prefers duet narration, so her books are done that way - and it’s perfection.
There are even bonus scenes available in audio, which makes the experience that much better. Do yourself a favor and listen immediately. It’s worth the credit, and honestly worth the dollar amount if you’re out of credits.
