Unable to shake off the annoyingly persistent Kelima, Terry resigns himself to taking her along. Will this decision kick off a chain of events Terry can’t foresee? One that involves danger, monsters, tropes, and UNOBTANIUM?

What a great side quest

The whole book is pretty much a side quest but it’s still great. Can’t wait for the next book.

Enjoyable 2nd round

The second entry was enjoyable for the most part, though with every story that tries to be meta, parts of the story will inevitably follow the same beaten path the work is trying to mock.

This story was at its best when it completely flipped the table in a couple plot points where it left the straight man flabbergasted, as it both progressed the plot, and did so in a logically comedic way.

I would suggest tonning down the MC's complaints as they tend to repeat without substantially adding anything to the narrative overall. Otherwise, I did enjoy this second entry, and will look to get the third.

Love this series! Interesting storyline, hilarious dialog, and tropes tropes tropes! And an amazing job by EMS as always! Can't wait for book 3!
