Can a human woman and a hunky minotaur meet the demands of a hungry demigod? Or will they cow under the pressure?
A Single Mother in Crisis
Betsy should have known better than to fall for the King of the Gods. But hey, we've all made stupid decisions in our twenties.
But in her case, there were consequences. Demigod-sized consequences.
You'd think Zeus would be interested in getting to know his minotaur son. But sadly, Betsy is abandoned to figure out single motherhood on her own... which is a problem when her baby needs more nourishment than she can provide.
When a mysterious goddess offers her a solution, she hastily agrees-not realizing it will deliver her straight into the arms of a monster.
A Lonely Minotaur
If Felix has said it once, he's said it a hundred times: Never trust the gods.
They're the reason he was exiled to the corn fields of rural Minnesota all those years ago. He fell in love with the wrong goddess, and BAM. Sentenced to eternal solitude.
That is, until they issued him a new punishment: shack up with Zeus's ex-girlfriend, and help her raise their son.
She's nothing like he expected—and that's exactly why he can't let himself get too close. Except, her baby needs milk. And there's only one way to increase her supply...
This minotaur x hucow romance is chock-full of forced proximity, single mom realness, existential angst, and "milking" both ways!

What I did not expect was the Greek mythology aspects of this book. In Milking with the Minotaur, Betsy sleeps with a man, who turns out to be Zeus, himself. At which point, she becomes pregnant with a half Minotaur baby and Zeus all but abandons her. The pregnancy and birth is difficult, and she is struggling to keep her newborn baby fed with her milk supply. Zeus’ wife, Hera apparently takes pity upon her and sends her to a remote farm to live with a Minotaur by the name of Felix. Both Felix & Betsy learn that there is only one way to ensure that Betsy’s milk supply is high enough to sustain her half-Minotaur son — and that is by consuming (or absorbing?) some of Felix’s….er… “milk.”
The story is generally cozy, extremely spicy, surprisingly emotional and full of very unexpected and unhinged plot twists. I honestly had a good time listening to the audiobook because of how spicy, unhinged and far fetched it was. But I felt that the book went off the rails towards the end & became more confusing. At which point, some of the plot points didn’t make sense with the story as a whole.
The audience for this book is a bit narrow, even within the romance genre. If you enjoy monster romance and enjoy, or are at least permissive of heavy lactation kink, hucow kink, unhinged plot points and some miscommunication, then you will probably enjoy this book. If you are not okay with any of the above, this book is not for you.
The audiobook is narrated by the author, Cassandra Metcalf and Jack Calihan. Both narrators did a fine job and Cassandra especially gave a very enthusiastic performance of her book.

I particularly like how CM can create an overall SWeet story, but still bring the Dirty Sexy. Thank you.
My 2nd CM book, and LOVED it
