Where her life is dull and routine, she's still Black, successful, and loved by those around her. Life gets chaotic when her prescription for therapeutic shopping is filled on the wrong day.

One takes while the other earns. It may seem like the two very different worlds would clash, but somehow, the wrong time is the right place for these two to start an unbreakable bond.

Great Listen

This is a good read. I listen for Midnite’s voice 😬🫣. But this is a good story, at times I felt like it was “too much” over explaining with the characters personal dialog, and I did skip 30 seconds or more at a time when the MFC spoke. It took too long to get to the point a few times in this story with her.
But 5 stars, decent read/listen.

This family full of crazy people haha. Connie Easton is crazy and I love everything crazy about her and her characters!

Narrators did a great job. They are 2 of my favorites.

Cant wait for book 3. I like the storyline and the banter. The MMC is a little unhinged just as book 1. Great writing

Genesis

I love the story and loved how the way Genesis story was developed however, brat stood out to me as a strong girl in the beginning then she became stupid and sprung throughout the book . Wish she would’ve had more backbone like klarity cause obviously that’s the kind of girls the Atkins Boys need 😌 but still loved the book ‼️

A little boring

It was a good story but something about the delivery made it a little boring. I was about half way through the book before it had me fully engaged. Nothing was necessarily wrong with the story and all the characters were likeable.
