Perian and Brannal are more in love than ever, but the challenges facing them are growing exponentially. With Renny suffering a serious setback, a training exercise gone disastrously wrong, and a betrayal that leads to the most shocking revelation of all, their future is at stake as never before.

Perian might not be a Mage or a Warrior, but he's surrounded by friends, and Brannal has been wonderful about showing his commitment. From games with a convalescing Renny to Fire Festivals with friends to nights with Brannal, Perian is enjoying everything the castle has to offer. Well, almost everything. Amidst all the bright moments, shadows are starting to creep in.

Even in locations they thought were safe, Perian, Brannal, and their friends are beset by demons, kidnapping, and attacks. When explosive secrets are revealed, everything they thought they knew is suddenly in question. Is love really strong enough to conquer all, or will these secrets prove to have the ultimate destructive power?

The Lost Art of Revealing Hidden Truths is a cozy MM fantasy romance with plenty of steam. Told in single POV, it gives Perian and Brannal their hard-won HEA, with more than one surprise along the way. It is best enjoyed in order.

Includes the novella, The Lost Art of Chasing Wild Geese.

Great story with interesting characters. The narration is fantastic. I can’t wait for the next one.

The world building, the characters, the story line, the narration in every book of this series were all exceptional. I thouroghly enjoyed every book. I hope Audible makes the wise decision to pursue having the last book narrated by Mr. Toma too. If they do it will give me a reason to listen to every book all over again.

Such a great series

I hope there is a book 4. I loved the story and the characters were so easy to fall for.

Finally, some action and a few answers. The Perian reveal was anticlimactic since I’ve been expecting it since book one, but the way we got there was a little bit of a surprise. The copious amount of sex certainly makes more sense now.

I still feel like the mystery of how Kee survived was glossed right over, and it looks like maybe that will be a topic of book four. I’m not sure I’ll continue for that. I love a good redemption arc, but Cormal was a very unlikable character from day one, and the idea of him and Kee getting together sort of icks me out.

Overall, the Perian/Brannal trilogy was enjoyable, if a little slow-moving. I do like them together, and their group of friends were a fun lot.

Iggy Toma was excellent as Perian throughout the trilogy.

Finally, Some Answers!

I enjoyed the story through the first book. The storyline of the series is interesting, but so little happens in book 2 and 3. Much of the foreshadowing in book 1 is unresolved after finishing book 3. As the series progresses the MC’s are weakened by the drawn out storyline and uncharacteristically imbecilic behavior required to leave key points unresolved and characters floundering. The spicy scenes are sophomoric and repetitive. At times in the series they are exhausting because they are so frequent as well as uninteresting.

Weakest out of the first three in the series
