I don’t understand the bad reviews

I almost didn’t listen to this book because of the reviews but I’m glad I did. This was a cute small town omegaverse romance.

Now was it like all the other omegaverses out there? No.

This felt like a “Bonding of convenience” situation. Normally you have the alphas smell the omega and right away they know they are a sent match, court and want to bond right a way. This isn’t that book. They liked how she smelled and were attracted by her but it wasn’t the all consuming need like in other omegaverses. They even say it might not be a bond for love. So it’s different from the standard omegaverse but it isn’t horrible. They spend time together and eventually fall in love. But I wish we got to see more of that process because it did seem rushed. There were so many spicy scenes I could have gotten less of those and more storyline.

Sweet

It’s was a cute/sweet listen. The FMC at times was a little meek and ball-less, but then other times showed a backbone. So.. growth I guess

the narrators were great. story flowed. story line left you wanting to not stop till the end

Omegaverse Cowboys

I couldn’t put this book down. I felt bad for Piper and the jerks she was with before. I love the small town living though where people look out for each other and the romantic meddling. The initial meet cute with Dakota was cute. Then with Montana he was surprised and a little cautious but knew him and the others needed help. Zeke is such a goofball with hidden talents. Clay took some warming up too. Once you find out the backstory a little, his attitude makes some sense. The connection with the group as a whole is balanced between the serious and the playful. Piper has a way of relaxing the serious guys though which was sweet. The story as a whole flowed really well and the characters were well written too. I did read along with the audiobook. Stephanie Rose and Jarman Day were really wonderful with the duet narration. Their voices worked well together.

Would recommend it!!

I really loved this book!! The only thing I didn’t like was Clay in the beginning. I think Clay should have done more graveling before she slept with him. The other 3 make up for Clay! I would recommend it!!
