Jane is probably the best care i've ever read next to draca. to be honest, I kinda really like Jade as well. There's a lot of funny thank you so much moments in this book that really sets the tone
And I really love lottie where there was more of her in there.

Amazing story and performance

I absolutely loved it. It's hard to find good books with non-human MCs and this knocked it out of the park. The world building and power systems are well done and I'm already eager to listen to the second book !

I love stories where the person is a monster or reincarnated as a monster, but most of them have a problem with the person tries way too hard to cling to their humanity and as soon as they get a human form they spend almost every other book in it and you rarely ever get to see them transform anymore. so it's really nice seeing someone actually just embrace their new side can't wait for the next book!
