Sweet, spicy, and emotional

What’s meant to be will always find a way! I absolutely loved listening to Berkley and Nate’s story. There was the perfect amount of spice and plot. The narrators did an amazing job expressing the range of emotions felt throughout. This was my first LA Shaw book and I can’t wait to read more!

Nate & Berkley

Nate and Berkley were together in high school and Berkley thought everything was going well. Then Nate suddenly broke up with her as they were getting ready to head off to separate colleges. Two years and a football injury later and Nate has transferred to the college that Berkley is at. And now he is determined to win her back.

Nate was a swoony book boyfriend who was willing to win back the woman who has always held his heart. From his devotion, to the letters he wrote, he proves his love to Berkley. Berkley was an amazing FMC who was so strong and feisty. I am glad she made Nate work to get her back.

The narration was beautifully done by Aaron Shedlock and Alexis Page. They were able to show off not only the chemistry between the characters but the banter and the true friendship between them.
