Another great book by J. Wheeler, and I love K. Rudd's performance. looking forward to the next one.

Another Great Addition to Jeff Wheeler's Universe

Jeff Wheeler continues his Angel Sworn Series with book 2, Tyrant Queen. It's full of twists and turns, suspense, and even a sprinkling of Greek mythology. I couldn't stop listening to it, and then it ended too quickly. If you like fantasy adventure stories. This may be right up your alley. Do start with book 1, Queen Mother, and then continue with Tyrant Queen. I bet you'll be hooked, too. By the way, Kate Rudd is the best narrator I've come across on Audible. I can't get enough of her narrations!

The mystery of the characters and what powers they had.

Kate Rudd always does great job with the different voices and accents. The story keeps the reader in suspense.

Felt cheated

I am a big fan of Jeff Wheeler; and, the narrator match-up with Kate Rudd is a "match made in heaven". Having read/listened to over 35 of his books, this series is a disappointment. This is the first time I can remember that the reading component is necessary because of the complexity of the world building. Perhaps that is why I am charged for Audible. It is a tough listen. Most of Mr. Wheeler's books have been available as a read/listen when you have Kindle Unlimited. No more.
I started this series thinking it would only be two books. Unfortunately, the cliff hanger at the end of this book is another disappointment.
