An action-packed Progression Fantasy Adventure for fans of Cradle, Sword Art Online, and Iron Prince!

To kill a God, Isaac must become one.

After losing his parents as a child, Isaac vowed to get vengeance on the God who took everything from him.

At ten, he had the skills of a top assassin. At sixteen, he killed more men than he could count. At twenty-one, he now steps through a portal looking to destroy a god.

Welcome to The Other Side, a realm where gods, dragons, and races from folklore and legend all compete for the number one spot. A spot that once claimed allows you to rewrite the very fabric of the universe.

To win, he must gain a crew, place his life on the line, and seek the one thing that matters above all else: strength!

But when enemies wait at every turn for his downfall, doing so is easier said than done.

Here, there is only one rule. Survive and grow stronger.

This book has action, adventure, comedy, and life lessons all throughout. Really well done. Can’t wait for book 2.

the reader did a great job with this one. however the story itself wasn't my cup of tea, and was a great story to fall asleep to.

Great Performance

Start to finish this book was great and the build up was perfect. I can’t wait for book 2!

This was an ok start of a series. Would only get the next if I'm low on things to read.

Main issues for me were mostly around a lack of world building. It seemed intentional on the author's part to only tease at aspects of the world but it just comes off as plot holes. Creates questions like why don't their super powerful mentors step in at all? Or how did the MCs parents have him on earth, and die when he's six, but become strong enough to fight a god in the meantime?

Also introducing female characters only to have their only purpose be getting hurt to motivate the male MCs is such a lame trope. I really thought we were past this lazy type of writing. Really disappointed with that cop out.

Intestesting world potential, dumb MCs, and a weird amount of dick references

The premise is interesting in that the MC wants to avenge his parents’ deaths. The cast of characters is bigger than initially expected but they are well developed. The pseudo-earth employs some solid world building to make a unique fantasy world. The cultivation system was easy to remember with references to noble titles. Enjoyable read and I will look for the next book. The narration was very well done.
