Bob sees a handcuff dangling from the man's lacerated wrist.

Later that day, a stylishly dressed woman marches into Saltern-le-Fen police station demanding to see Detective Marie Evans. 'I want you to find my husband.'

Then a homeowner clearing undergrowth in his back garden makes a horrifying discovery. The decomposing remains of five bodies huddled in an old World War 2 pillbox.

Detective Jackman asks Interpol to issue a Black Notice. But little is he prepared for the shocking results that come in . . .

I finished reading 'Black Notice' and have to say I wasn't sure who was the killer till the end. It kept me so involved, I had a difficult time putting it down. I found it to be many stories within a larger one that brought them all together. It was very interesting and entertaining at the same time. I also had to listen to it because my favorite narrator , Richard Armitage , performed it. As always , he did a fantastic job and makes every story come to life. Love this series and hope it continues for many more stories.

OVERALL, BLACK NOTICE IS A COMPELLING ENTRY IN THE JACK & EVANS SERIES THAT RAIS THE EMOTIONAL STAKE DELIVERS SEVERAL SHOCKS
