In a world where love defies time and destiny, can a quiet artist embrace her fate with a supernatural king?

Anora

In my quiet life of painting and solitude, my only companion is my elderly neighbor, Sarah. She encourages me to seek love, but I feel as though I'm waiting for someone special. My dreams are filled with a striking man—Amir—who unexpectedly walks into my diner, enchanting me with his charm and supernatural presence. He's a powerful blend of vampire, shifter, and warlock, making him one of the mightiest beings alive.

As my feelings for him grow, I realize that loving him comes with complications, especially with a hidden threat looming over me. Amir insists that I'm his fated mate, and while I'm irresistibly drawn to him, I must face the challenges of loving a monster. Can I accept this destiny, or will it lead to my downfall?

Amir

I've found her—my precious Anora. She has no idea how long I've waited. After many visits from her future self, hope faded when I lost the Great War, leaving my children cursed and unable to find their mates. Four centuries later, I fell into madness and a six-hundred-year slumber. Now, the curse is broken, and I awaken in Anora's time.

She's young and naive, unaware of the curse binding her bloodline. My first goal is to win her heart; then, I'll claim her as my mate and make her the queen of Wintermoon. I must also break the curse so she can embrace her true identity as a witch.

However, enemies from my past want to stop me. Our love sparks a prophecy for a second Great War, and they believe taking Anora is the only way to rid themselves of me. I refuse to live without her, and I'll do anything to protect her.

Finally getting their story although we always knew who they were and now I understand why. I never realized Anora had been visiting Amir in the past, through time. This was intense and good. What happens now that Dark magic is gone now?

The sexual descriptions in this book were amazing. It had me wondering if this type of intimacy can be possible in the real world. Can a spouse truly learn your body and fulfill your needs and desires in such a way? How do you dare approach the subject. I had to make sure my panties weren't wet while reading these scenes. I thoroughly enjoyed how each book developed the characters and storyline. I was eager to start diving into the next book immediately. Thank you for this four book series.

Ok, so, for starters. This still was a good listen to me considering that it connects to the series as a whole and helps everything makes sense throughout the book series. Now, with that being said there are a few things I dislike. I didn't care much for Ebony Ford this go around as the narrator, she lacked a lot as the male voice in this book. For Amir to have once been King he's not giving off that when she reads his parts. She lacked so much emotion and sounded so damn drowsy and lazy it was cringing. She sounds almost like she's over reading this series and is just trying to get done and can care less about giving it any emotion. I have listened to her on many other books. And she sounds a lot different than she does in this book series lol. The other thing I didn't like was how weak Tessa wrote Amir's character, he seemed powerless when it came to his sister and taking her out or even fighting her. She continued to show him what she was capable of and he still had such a soft spot for her unless it came to Anora 🙄🤦🏾‍♀️ but everybody else didn't matter it seems. Now I get he doesn't want to be king, but that's what Fate had in the cards for him. I also feel like even thought the book was long I feel like it was necessary in some sense. Over all I am going to continue the series because I paid for it lol and it's a good series. but I hope she finds someone else to do the other series she's working on because Ebony Ford needs a break lol or I should say, we need a break from Ebony Ford lol. Other than that I give 5 🌟 as usual.

Still love the series, but....
