Capri Towns is a loving father and respected businessman.

He left the streets long ago in an effort to be a better man. Life is good with flourishing businesses, a fiancée, and his best friend by his side. One act of betrayal hardens Capri's heart and turns his soul dark. Just when he thinks things can't get any worse, they do. Capri is forever changed, and it's not for the better. Lisa Tate is planning a wedding and preparing for the birth of her child.

One trip to the doctor's office breaks her heart, and Lisa is left trying to cope. The person that she needs by her side the most is MIA, and Lisa finds herself devastated and alone. To make matters worse, when a cold-hearted stranger swoops in and attempts to make her pay for a sin that she didn't commit, Lisa knows she has to be on God's most hated list.

What happens when two tortured souls stare into each other's eyes and bond from an immense amount of pain? Are they damaged forever, or is it possible for two broken hearts to help one another mend?

Great Story

The way Capri and Lisa were able to turn their Trauma bonding into a supportive love was refreshing to read. Both deserved a 2nd chance at love and happiness. Robin was a conniving snake. I hated that she was able to get away with the gofundme funds.

Myles Washington was awesome, as usual. Whitley Whitmore was not a good fit for this story, for me.

I loved the story line ! The reading was very good. I think it should be a book 2.

Good story

I wish she would’ve gave sage a chance. Sage deserved better. He needs a story because he was good man Savannah. A GOOD MAN! Unproblematic.
