Love the twist of the FMC being just as big of a stalker. Nice twist.

I love the fact that the camaraderie between Jace, Parker, and Matty gets stronger and more hilarious!

Obsession!

I loved this book! I listened to it and the narrators were perfect. It was done in duet style which was well done.

I love that the roles were (mostly) reversed and our unhinged main character was Ophelia vs Matty. Okay, Matty is also unhinged and he doesn’t know who Ophelia really is at first. Ophelia is obsessed with him and then tries to distance herself. In distancing herself, she puts herself right into his path. Once he sees her, he will not unsee her. Now, the playing field is more even though she is still trying to stay under the radar.

Her mom is horrible; his dad is worse. Her mom manipulates her and bullies her while his dad feels Matty owes him the moon. He’s a gambling addict making poor life choices and abuses his son’s good heart.

Ophelia tries to hide the fact that she’s his stalker and knows just about everything there is to know about him. She lets slip some facts about him a few times but he doesn’t catch on - mostly because he is more than smitten. He discovers that on his own and boy, does it EVER turn him on.

Marty’s obsession means he doesn’t want to share her - not even with the other girlfriends. That doesn’t go as he planned and Ophelia is welcomed with open arms.

His crazy matches her obsession, stroke for stroke.

There is no third act breakup.

Stalker meets stalker.

This was another excellent read by CR Jane. I expected to like this a little less then previous two in the series thinking Matty wasn’t quite as out there as Parker and Jace. Boy was I wrong. Welcome to the No Drama Llamas. Loved the humor and watching as Matty’s dark side unfolded. Ophelia was a different female lead but she fit perfectly in this series. Can’t wait to read the next book. Whoever is picking the male narrators in her series, chef’s kiss. These guys increase the heat level-which is already scorching- by 1000%.

Wrong catch

Omg if I could love cr Jane anymore this book just made me love her more! I absolutely loved this book and Matty and Ophelia were chef’s kiss🫦 the obsession was amazing and I fell in love with Jayce even more as I was rolling laughing throughout this book. I know she said it was dark romance and I can see some aspect of that but overall I found this to be more dark rom-com more with all the characters and the shenanigans they went through. Cannot wait for the next book to come out!
