Ruby Landers smashes it out of the park

This is such a fantastic story, although incredibly tense, and even very sad at times. The actor did a phenomenal job bringing all the characters to life, and I think using an Australian narrator to voice this was a fantastic idea (like Ribbonwood), because it just feels more authentic. The way their voice choked up in one scene brought tears to my eyes. You’ll definitely blush at times in this story with the super hot sex scenes, they’re a different tone than Ruby’s previous stories and it did catch me by surprise when I read it. Overall though this is a slow burn, friends to lovers, with tension everywhere.

I couldn’t stop…

I loved the Grace series and this is up there with that! Once I started I couldn’t stop and had to listen to the end. If you looking for an intriguing story , great characters then make this your next pick ☺️

I love Ruby Landers’ books and this is another excellent story. 5 stars. Can’t wait to read more from her.

didn't expect that

A very slow burn love that I half expected not to happen from the many twists and turns, or it end up totally different than it did. I honestly like the ending way better than most of the book.
