So far..somewhat good.

Hijacked:

Did not at all forgive Riggs, the way he treated and acted after the rescue was intolerable and hurtful.

The way the authors skipped over or swept his actions under the rug was irritating. No real acknowledgement of his treatment of Carter or real apology or real understanding, he seemed more apt to say how Carter “acted”.

Was so done with all of it, especially on the “intervention” Carter got like he was acting stupid and oblivious!, I wanted to throw my phone listening to that BS.

The narration was okay. Dean’s voice acting made all of it seem one dimensional. He’s better than that.

Entertaining

I enjoyed listening to the series. I particularly loved book 2 and found book 1 & 3 just ok. The HEA is super great,although kinda expected as the stories unfolded.

It’s very Monty Python, a tad too slap stick for an adventure romance. it just didn’t work for me.
I normally love Lucy Lennox, quirky banter, fast paced, pithy; but this one jumped the shark.

This one settles a little from Riggs & Carters story. Still pushing the envelope between quirky and silly but much improved Champ & Quinn are endearing and the chase is much better done

This is more of what I expected. If you’re following the series, you’ve seen this coming from a Thicket mile. Kev & Huck protested too much. Our 2 favorite gamers, are finally working together, and it works so good. Storytelling greatly improved as series progressed
