Great Narration

A great addition of three short stories from characters set in Drew Hayes's villans code universe

Love love love

I really enjoy the Rick storyline, and I also loved the Apollo follow up storyline!

Amazingly written

He knocked another addition to this world out of the park! I greatly appreciated the Easter eggs/ inspirations that I recognized.

Great continuation of the story

Didn't like it as much as volume 1, but added depth to some side characters.

Love the Vignettes

These little stories about some of the main and minor charecters from the Villians' Code are great. The stories are a great way to deepen the charecters and introduce new ones that may show up. This one had 3 great stories that just make me want more! Hopefully another book set in the Villians' Code world will be here soon!

The Deepened World Building

Have you ever read a story that you just can't get enough of but aren't shown more of that world because those stories just aren't told? Have you wanted more and had to learn to live with disappointment? Well, you're in luck. The Villain's Code books have these vignettes, short(ish) stories that fill in the universe and tell interesting stories of the universe that just don't fit in the overall story umbrella. Drew Hayes gives us stories that make the characters more fleshed out to enjoy the main story even more. I appreciate him giving character development so much time. His characters can walk right off a page into our lives -- they are three-dimensional with not only powers, but problems and baggage to go along with it.

These stories are enthralling while giving us background that we wouldn't be lost without in the main series but add so much to the series. And of course, Amy Landon does a great job with consistent voices with emotion and difference between the characters. You should come enjoy this series with me.

I loved every minute of this audio. Another great book by Drew Hayes. I’m always thrilled to see a new book on his list.
