Even surviving Cormaine couldn't prepare Zalia for the treachery, dangerous magic, and armies of hell that await her back in Endaria.

Zalia has finally made her way back to Endaria after escaping the hellish nightmare of Cormaine. Yet instead of a warm welcome, she finds her friends scattered, their armies crumbling, and demons slaughtering their way across the kingdom.

Newly ranked-up and hardened by her experiences—and with her feisty mountain ice cat, Boreal by her side—Zalia saves a young survivor, Aylie, as they look for any semblance of hope amid the chaos. Light begins to shine through as Zalia sets out to reunite with long-lost friends, gather allies, and reorganize the resistance.

However, their struggle against the demon invasion will soon come to a head. Doubt plagues Zalia as she wonders whether the forces gathered will be enough to take back Endaria from its captors. Only time will tell if they can defeat the demonic god that has settled itself within the heart of the kingdom—and Zalia's new home.

it was good in the first 2 books then they had to throw in the litrpg lesbian romance that every book with a female mc has. What can't there just nit be romance at all I don't get it

was good

I’ve read this book on royal road and like it the problem came the latter half of the book when the narration changed sometimes for a chapter other times for a word and it’s disconcerting and changes the narrative and tone of the book.

Good 3rd book except narration

Some parts the voice of the narrator switches for odd reasons. I hope they are ok

And I’m not talking about the same-“sexness” of the new relationship. This book somehow managed to take several steps backward in writing quality. Prior to this book the series was ok but not great. Still it was good enough to keep me spending credits. Unfortunately, this book has the hallmarks or an under-edited/alpha-read first book. From nonsensical moral handwringing to inexplicable character decisions it just was not very good.

If you really love this series then I don’t know, probably go for it with this book. But if you were sort of on the fence about it already like I was then I recommend you save your credit.

Took a bad swerve in this book

this series started a little slow but I liked it. interesting premise and the mc was consistent and different than usual. the second book was fantastic. well thought out, touching and good dialogue/performance with companions. this 3rd book...I'm sorry bit even though I was invested in the series, I didn't make it all the way through. kept listening to see if it got better but 4 hours till the end, I couldn't keep going.
I don't think the premise of the third book was bad but the execution was poor. dialogue was cringy and awkward. romance was the same along with being cliche and forced. I have no problem with introducing a romantic partner in series like this (though unnecessary) but it was about as cringe as could be without adding anything to the story.
I'm not great at reviews bit if you start listening to the 3rd book, I think you'll understand the issues.
