But he's waiting for something. I'm not entirely sure what. Because I'm not like the females he knows. There's no way I can go into heat and take his knot like he wants. There's no way I can take his seed… Right?

Outcast Island is a quick listen standalone that is part of the Exiled Sector collection (various authors). This is my second book from the author and again, I was drawn in from the beginning. Magnus has exiled himself on an island of brutal vampires when Gudrun crashes down. He's an alpha, she's an omega, and the chemistry is strong from first sight. I love when the uber-protective MMC is a cinnamon roll with his love interest (he calls her his diamond *sigh*). I'm also in love with the FMC as she may be an omega, but she's feisty. This romantasy has loads of steam, passion, and revenge. I just wish it had been longer.

The narration was fantastic! Ash Beverly and Alyssa Avery perfectly delivered their characters, accents and all. 5/5 stars for this duo!
