Pretty Good

This book has an unexpected storyline between these two characters that made for a good read. There is spice, loss, love, disappointment, mental health issues and joy in this book so you get a full spread of emotions. The narrators did a great job. Definitely recommend.

Teagan had received anonymous invitation from the Black Widow Secret Society club. King Cobra sent it to her because he wants to use her for his revenge. He sends the invite and offers to pay her. She now needs the money since her parents left her without telling her. Now, she's trying to come up with money to pay her bills and other things she needs. Twist and turns come to light and he doesn't feel so guilty for wanting her now. Hunter is in WITSEC because his younger brother was murdered by the mafia/mob and Tegan had been somewhat of a witness -- that's why hunter wants revenge; because she dismissed them whenever they ran up to her for help. Once she tells Hunter the truth, he understands better and truly starts to fall for her even though he feels guilty.

‼️‼️ Sadly, the time line plots do not add up between book 1 & book 2. Jagger was in the secret society in his book but this book was saying he knew nothing about it. It still had Jagger out with a knee injury even though he played football 🏈 in book 1. Aria and jagger were very protective of Teagan but I honestly think that Jagger was WAY OVER protective whenever he's dating her best friend, Aria. Jagger almost acted too touchy at times. I don't understand it especially because he was truly possessive of Aria in book 1.
