Came here mid book to wail about how terrible the male narrator is (because I couldn’t take it) but I see others beat me to it. Thanks for the laughs! lol so spot on, and I’m glad I wasn’t the only one cringing. Someone even gave great advice about how to skip his parts!

Beyond that, great story and original narrator is perfect as always. I love the world built here and will continue to enjoy this lovely series …pretending the male narrator didn’t happen *cringe*

Great book two. Love the storyline and the characters. This book caused a bunch of emotions. It was a roller coaster with ups snd downs. I’m looking forward to book 3. This book has some F/F and F/M spice.

why did there have to be such a horrible male narrator???

it almost ruined the story for me, thank goodness it wasn't often or long chapters i also feel all his chapters were skippable really did anything to the story

Wayne Mitchell’s voice is not great

The first book was only read by Paige Reisenfeld and it was lovely.

The choice to include Wayne Mitchell in the next one was a bad decision. The voice actor has a single tone to his reading of his parts and that is anger even in a gentle scene. He also does not do female voices well.

If they wanted to give male characters male voices fine but don’t have the voice actors just read sections of the story and voice all characters in those sections.

Paige did an excellent job again.

I will not listen to any other books with Wayne Mitchell as the voice.

Wayne Mitchell ruined the narration. But if you can get past it, the story is excellent.

Love the depth and storyline. Although, I wish it shipped the relationships differently...that may come together in book 3. For the love of all Sapphic listeners, please do no use Wayne ever again in a storyline for our genre. After over 130 Sapphic books (including virtual audio), his was by far the worst I have heard.
