He's done it again. Great book. For the short hours it never felt short or like it needed more. Very much enjoying this new look on tower climbing. Would read again.

Another great one

This was an awesome follow up to book one. The bizarre characters and the dark humorous chaos of their pathetic situation was excellent.

what's going on?

Curious where Eric is taking this series. I'd like to remain spoiler free, but the pacing feels a little slow for major story beats and the banter feels a little excessive with no answer as to why. Nick does a fantastic job with inflection, keeping characters in the right tone/pitch/accent and it was a pleasure listening to his narration.

Must listen! Puppet power!

Love the unique story and voice acting is amazing. The story gets better with floor.

Fantastic addition to a unique series

I've been reading litrpg and fantasy for so long that I was becoming so bored of the repetitive and predictable plots. This is in my top five series and I will recommend it to anyone who will listen.

Good but ending a bit abrupt

It was a good story, like all of Ugland's books, but the ending felt quite abrupt, like the author had written himself into an entanglement and then just abandoned the direction he'd been heading because he wanted the book to end.

Loved it!

Eric Ugland is one of my favorite authors! Continues to keep me engaged in the characters and can't wait for the next one!

Fun

Del is now on the second floor. Turns out it’s a prison and he’s now a prisoner. He gets forced to navigate the gangs and fight in the Colosseum. There’s also a mimic invasion. He manages to survive and escape the floor, but has to leave much undone. Book ends

Great humor and pacing. Wonderful narrator. Great story progression. Over too soon. Please enjoy.

A very unique perspective

I absolutely the the stories from Eric Ugland, I have all of his Audibles. This is another fantastic work with an interesting world build and multiple unique twists making the story unpredictable and highly entertaining (like most of his works). Stellar performance by the narrator, and simply a joy to listen to. A great escape from the ugly reality we all must face. Looking forward to Ugland’s next book, from whatever series that happens to be.

Another great listen

I own nearly every single book written by Eric and I have yet to dislike one. I really wish there was a book 3 as I’m invested.
