They gave me away... now he has me.

I know three important facts. One: I'm locked up, and my mates betrayed me. Two: Severi isn't dead. And three: If I don't get out, Starlight City is going down with my Nexus.

After running for five years, I'm back in Starlight City, and my mates finally found out what is wrong with my Nexus. In an unexpected turn of events, my own mates turned against me and handed me over to the new Alpha Supreme, leaving me no choice but to face a trial that will determine my fate in light of the crimes I have been accused of. Even if I didn't want to kill anyone, even if it wasn't my choice, and even if everyone who died deserved it.

Onyx, Finnegan, Rhodes, Hollis, and Aleksander finally know why I rejected them, and they are groveling for my forgiveness while fighting to make sure I'm released and safe… but they don't know about Severi.

There is a monster in the darkness, and this time it isn't just me. If Severi gets me… my Nexus will be the last thing Starlight City sees before it is gone.

Celestial Alphas is a dark romantasy with men who growl more than speak. You can expect tropes like who did this to you?, touch her and die, rejected mates, forced proximity, and why choose?

This book has a good story line. I stayed up all night to finish the first book. Lots of good twist.

Great read. Too short!

This books opens up more of the story line. Instead of the push and pull between Gweneve and her mates, they start to come together little by little. Hollis is still a complete jacka$$, but at least we now know why he acts the way he does. Can’t wait for the third book to see how the story progresses.

Such a good book and the narrators are amazing! I loved the twist at the end.

Did not see that ending coming!

This story just didn’t connect. The character development was off and the story had a lot of holes. I am not continuing to the third book.

Won’t be continuing

The first book in this series was fine, a solid 3 stars. Yes, its basic premise was a lot like “The Bonds that Tie” BUT not as identical as the J. Bree stan club insists. This book however, was utter garbage. I hoped that book 1 marked some maturity and growth for this author (some of her previous stuff is basically unreadable). But this book proves she has a long way to go. In the last 20min of book 1 she introduced a new sadistic mate, and then had the nerve to make this book revolve around him! I mean, this heroine (Gwen) already has FIVE mates we know nothing about. She’s barely spoken to, or been intimate with, any of them. But sure let’s add one from another species??? (that has never been backstoried or described) and who is some kind of super villain 🙄.

Throw in kidnapping, torture, a trial of the century, everyone’s relatives and friends dying, a Vian torture mansion, new abilities tossed in like confetti, natural disasters, another house falling down, unclear definition of nexus (it’s a noun, it’s a verb, its an adjective, it’s a pony that salsas), the heroine’s psychopathic wolf/goblin nexus, starlight gifts hovering over dead bodies, night markets with fairies, love potions, an evil twin…. I could go on and on and on. It’s basically novella length but has enough nonsense to fill a series. The story felt messy and desperate, very “please like something, I need to pay the rent” 😂. Unfortunately, I guess there was no time to write in any human emotion, or characters with a personality.

Steaming pile of trash
